Bolton Golf club
Beautiful course lovely fairways and greens. The only negative is the lack of signage for Tees on some of the holes. Got lost a couple of times and played the wrong hole until guided by a member. That said , a great course.
Fantastic Course
Amazing course, there are some really nice holes. Greens are in manicured condition.
The practice area is fantastic, putting, chipping and a range.
Staff in the pro shop very friendly too! I will definitely be back....
Hidden Gem
Booked this on a last minute deal and it didn’t disappoint. Course was immaculate and greens were very very good.
Top quality
Brilliant range of holes- uphill downhill dog legs set in stunning scenery.
Opportunities to open your shoulders but just as many where you have to think your way around especially 7-10.
Course in superb condition. Well worth a visit!
Disappointing
Very poor greens very bobbly and patchy..
tee off areas uneven and grass too long.
Won't be coming back any time soon in a hurry.
Was even warned my a member the greens are awful unfortunately after I'd already booked and paid up front.
Sunshine start
Winter tee boxes on some holes.
Tee housings in poor condition, struggled to get a tee to stand up in some bug overall a great day.
Standard
Considering this course charges £400 plus for a membership the standards need to imporove. All the greens where temporarily out of action with no notice prior to booking. So trying to improve my putting on a fairway with divots and holes the size of a bucket was next to impossible to see if my game is improving. I recommend that there is other course within the same distance much better.
Great course
Great course with excellent speed of play. The tee box positions could have been better but overall a great experience.
Good but...........
Good points-course in great condition with super quick greens and short fairways
Bad points-entire course on a very steep gradient which was very tiring and frustrating to play with balls constantly running off down the hill
V poor signage if you've not been before, with winter and regular tees not clear at all so even more walking up amd down hill required!
Cant help thinking how easy it would be to print a signup and stick itn the ground to help. Matters

Perfect Day
Really enjoyed our round , middle of january,sun out and course in excellent condition. Greens and fairways all excellent.
