Breightmet Golf Club

Decent variety of holes. Nice lay out. First 9 are scabby and need improvement

I choose this course because of the excellent reviews and it's relatively close to my home address.

Being a beginner I only booked half a round as this was the first time playing on this course and I wanted to get the feel of the place in regards to their attitude towards new faces and beginner golfers.

Well I was not dissappointed, the staff were friendly and made you feel welcomed as did some of the members I spoke to during my round.

The 9 holes I played were well layed out and the greens i would give them 5 out of 5.

Would I come back...Yes, would I recommend this course to friends, also yes.

Played as a 3 ball, the pace of play was good, no waiting. Some great holes, some not so ie 12, 13 & 14 were just long and uninteresting but that said we really enjoyed it. You must call in the clubhouse for a beer or 2!

Good course, played here many times, unfortunately today there was only 13 holes playable due to vandalism by local scooters on track bikes. Great shame because it’s a great club, friendly members and staff.

Booked through tea off times price was really cheap (£23for 2 players) but found out fullcourse wasnt open due to storm damage. Played 9 holes then done same holes twice.course will be beautiful as always is when weather better though

Love this course recommended awesome in the summer played in the winter but still a tough challenge

Turned up to play only be told there was only 9 holes open, was emailed or contacted before our tee off time my either the club itself or golf now. Payed full price for 18 holes and only got to play 9 and the club and golf now have refused to to give me a half refund, absolute joke.

A good course in great condition with a number of interesting and challenging holes. The staff are the friendliest you could wish to meet, from the clubhouse to the green keepers. The layout can be confusing so you must pay attention to the map on the scorecard. Def worth a round.

I’m sure in the spring and summer this course is fantastic however it rained the morning before we played and a number of holes & greens had standing water on them so didnt play through well

Great course, hilly and challenging in parts which makes for a great round. Greens are immaculate along with the well cut fairways.

First time playing here today. Course is in excellent condition for this time of year. The layout is great, never a boring hole, some testing holes on the back 9. I have to say the guy in pro shop made the trip today. I’ve never felt so welcome on a course. I will 100% be back.

Great course, really enjoyed it out there even though the weather wasn't great. I caught up to 2 people (I was playing alone) and ended up playing the rest of the holes with them, got to listen to some valuable course layout knowledge. Would happily play there again and will be in touch with the course

Looking for a local, early morning competitively priced tee I hadnt played Breightmet since about 6 years ago.

I feel like the layout at the end has changed a bit since to shows good signs of development.

It’s an open course and promotes getting the driver out a lot which is great. I played at 8.10 and had the course almost to myself apart from the good sign of having the ground staff out working on the course.

I would definitely play again.

Myself and a colleague were working local to the course and managed to book an afternoon slot. Staff and members were really friendly and helpful. The Course was perfectly kept. Would recommend.
