Breightmet Golf Club

Enjoyed the round overall. Course was in good condition for time of year but 9 holes closed. Very unnecessary need to use a Astro mat on fairways indicated by members that we hadn’t been told beforehand. Don’t mind playing off mats on tee boxes but on fairway is not needed as long you replace your divots. This would put me off from playing here if I’m place. Makes no sense and slows down play and authenticity of the round.

Very good condition considering the bad weather we have had in October. The greens were very good for the time of year and they ran true. Will be returning.

The course might be a bit hilly for some. It is a fair challenge. Unfortunately the course was quite wet in places following several days of heavy rain, I suspect it might not drain too well in certain areas in winter. A bit surprised we were allowed to use our trolleys. Scenic , well laid out course. Friendly staff and members

Despite a day and a half of heavy rain we managed a dry Sunday afternoon. The course has excellent drainage as despite all the previous rain the fairways and greens held up really well. Proper course .Value for money . Definately recommend

Well maintained, long, challenging hilly course.

It was a lovely day which helped and course was in good order, it had rained that week so the course was a little damp in places.

Made to feel welcome from the start by friendly staff. Well set out course which makes you think of shot positioning. Hopefully get to play here again soon.

Always a pleasant place for a round of golf. Course in very good condition and our4 ball had a good day despite the showers.

Course in great condition,with a good mix of holes an a bargain for £10.

If you like a flat course, this is not the course for you!

However there was a great selection of hole variations and a great challenge for all standards of golfers.

Thoroughly enjoyed my round here and will return.

Played the course yesterday with my son who has only recently taken up golf.

Course in great condition, staff and members very friendly. Club house obviously not open due to circumstances we currently find ourselves in. Would highly recommend the club to those who have not tried it.

Booked via Golf now and was pleasantly surprised when I booked it for £13.50 each. On arrival we were told that the full 18 holes were open but the “ back 9 “ were very boggy & the pro recommended we just play a reconfigured front 9 twice. We were at first a bit disappointed as we hadn’t been pre warned before booking. All this said, we all enjoyed the round and found the course to be in decent condition for the time of year.
