Bury Golf Club

Lovely course with a nice layout. Enjoyed the round but was constantly held up by a procrastinating 4 ball Infront of us (we were a pair) Not the courses fault obviously but still very frustrating waiting around at every tee from 1st to 18th. Worth the asking price for sure though. Will play again but hopefully not get stuck behind a four-ball who take forever to knock in a one foot putt

Course in fabulous condition. Booked a buggy at the pro shop. Pro was very helpful. Brought the buggy to us on the car park. Pace of play was slow for the first 6 holes. There was a 4 ball in front but eventually they let us through which was great. Great course to play.

Second time playing Bury GC in three weeks, unfortunately both times we thought the course looked scruffy,the grass on the fairways where pretty long compared to our home club,the rough was very long no first cut or second cut just fairways then rough also the greens where running very slow,overall thought it was in pretty poor condition but with a few tweaks could be a brilliant course as there are some really good holes,apart from that the staff inbth bar and the pro in the shop where brilliant.

Course is set out for you to attack it.couple of drivable par 4s that really get you going . Great layout and fairways and greens where immaculate. Can't wait for round 2 soon .

Played Bury GC yesterday, great course at a great price £20,it's a proper interesting layout some very quirky holes on this course that make you think about your tee shot and second shot,the only complaint i have is quite a few of the greens were patchy in places but apart from that the course was in great condition definitely one to play again

Nice golf course,and a good test of golf for the average player the back 9 is the best part , I wanted to clean my ball but couldn't find any ball washers which was a negative but overall good. I think it's priced about the right price between £20 and £30. As I do think golf clubs are definitely charging far too much these days, I have noticed quite alot of golf clubs that do charge more are struggling to fill the time slots for visitors so that should tell you something, lower your prices golf clubs.

Loved this course. Pro in the shop was super friendly as we're the members I met. Some lovely holes.

Conditions were perfect greens were in good order and the pace of the play could have been better but a great day on a great course.

Great experience today. All the staff are very friendly especially the Professional James. The course is in good condition considering all the recent rain. Only 3 holes out of action but the rest have the proper greens in play and are in remarkable condition considering all the recent rain. Lots of local courses are shut at the minute but Bury is open and definitely worth a round. Will be back soon

Will defo be playing again soon and in the summer just hope all 18 holes will be open soon only 3 closed but do need to play all 18 to get a 5* of me see you soon bury

Play here a lot as it’s a well kept course and always in good order. We only managed certain holes as some collided expectedly for maintenance and to protect the course as severe weather but would recommend it to anyone.

Had a great round today. The weather was great and the course in decent condition considering all the recent rain. The greens are in good condition. The pro was very friendly and did a quick club alteration which was good value and quick. Recommend a round here and will look to play gain soon.

Having paid £40 for a round, my expectations were high. the course was in a great condition, the tee boxes were well kept, the greens were great. The green keepers have done a fantastic job. The staff in the bar afterwards were great, polite and welcoming, even the members 👍

We will definitely pay it another visit

Course was ok, over priced for what it is. Fairways were a little rough. Slow greens and alot of up hill play. 17th was fun. Overall ok.

A good course in really good condition. Some tough holes and lots of opportunity to get the driver out. Greens were good and the staff were brilliant. Beautiful setting, would highly recommend.

Good course. Played really well. Comp on before me which bottlenecked the last 4 or 5 holes and slowed it down to a crawl but no problems other than that.
