Bury Golf Club

This is a tricky, well maintained nice course with really good drainage. We played this after a week of rain and the course looked and played well. Its not a long course and par 4s are short. But we really enjoyed it.

Played the course for the first time and was really impressed with the condition after several days rain. The greens were in good condition as were the fairways.

Some challenging holes along the way and would certainly play it again and recommend to others.

Hard to write review in honesty, as initial experience on the day was very positive and ruined by a couple of pratt members who feel like they own the club (we all know the type)

Course is in good condition. Relatively short but narrow and a challenge. Bunkers could perhaps do with a little more sand in.

Very positive experience until the 16 fairway when we were past by 2 members in their 30’s who decided to Express we should not be playing on their course as we were not quick enough or of standard. Very annoying as they had clearly not seen us play the entire round. (3:45 for a 4 ball is acceptable yes?) they just decided to be pompous pricks, which they were then promptly put in their lets be honest rather short and balding boxes for.

Good course, need to address the behaviour of your ‘members’ though.

Quite a hilly course, greens in good condition, there are some blind shots on this course and I found it quite challenging. You would benefit from playing this course a few times to find the best places to put your tee shots. Overall a good test but the bounce can be unpredictable.

I like this course it was very well set up and the staff were very nice

Course is in great condition with very well maintained greens. The rough is a bit long which can make finding your ball a little challenging but overall very enjoyable!.

Played mid-week and unfortunately the pace of play was very slow. Golf etiquette needs to improve when you are waiting on the tee of a par 3 whilst the players in front look for a ball. A simple call-on keeps pace of play moving.

Other than that love this course. Gary the pro is very good and the course is in great condition.

Nice layout. Greens were poor. Is surrounded by houses and there are public footpaths running through it. There were a few kids misbehaving.

Is a nice course however and very hilly. Shame the greens weren't so good, but assume they weren't in best shape.

Didn't play. Course closed to visitors at last minute due to Covid.

Golf Now don't issue refunds for Covid.

Very bad if you ask me.

Shan't use again.

Played on this course before and it is a great course but on this occasion it was extremely wet in places and a 1pm tee time was not ideal as it got murky soon. Played as a group of 4 , good company.

The course was in really good condition considering the amount of rainfall during the week.
