Very manageable course with plenty of challenges
Well kept, great space, nice challenges and some quirky aspects!
Coulsdon Manor
Played this course many times as it is my local course. Tee boxes good fairways a little burnt in places greens good but a little slow. Can understand due to lack of rain lately. Always a nice walk not to hilly. Would recommend to all of all standards. Not the longest or hardest but a pleasure to play.
Coulsdon Manor
Great course. Not the hardest or longest around but a joy to play. A little dry at the moment but lack of rain lately makes for some dry spots around the course. Greens in great shape but could do with a heavy roll to smooth out as its a bit bobbly but not too much. Some great views of.London from the 8th and 9th fairways. Always a pleasure to play.
Coulsdon Court
Played late Wednesday afternoon. Course in good condition. A little dry In places but OK overall. Not too difficult but provides a good test. Not to hilly so walking is OK. Whole round complete in three and a half hours. Good views of London from the high spots on the course. Would recommend.
Great value course
The course was in great condition, the greens were in tip-top condition. The bunkers were in fine condition with rakes provided at all. There had been a lot of rain in the area recently and the course had no standing water at all. The speed of play was better than average. I will certainly be playing this course again. Finally great value for money.
Played nicely
Played the Manor many times and it's an enjoyable round. Front 9 much nicer than the back apart from the inviting 18th.
A little imagination and TLC on a few of the holes from the 10th would make it a much better walk.
Still recommended.....oh bunkers could do with a refill!
A perfect day out
I was staying at Kingston-on-Thames , for couple of weeks and wanted to try some local courses for myself and son in-law to play. Coulsdon had several good reviews and thought i'd try it. It is a lovely small course, I played from the white tees to make it a bit longer (as I play off 12), and found it quite challenging, but was slowed down by a couple of young guys in a buggy who just wouldn't let me through, the first group let me through quickly. In the end a local member caught up with me and we played together for the last 6 . The facilities were excellent and I will definitely play there again
Great day and course in excellent condition
The course was in excellent condition, green well maintained and dry.
Its not the most exciting course but mainly flat and well laid out. It Vanilla but some times all you want is Vanilla. Well worth the money a very pleasant 3 hours
Coulsdon Court
All Tees greens and fairways in good condition. Friendly staff. Great old school course. A great place to have a quiet round of golf not over busy. No long waits at Tees or fairways. Not to hilly so you don't feel exhausted when your finished as it is quiet flat. Not overrun with with buggies either. Great course well done to staff keep.it up. Greens could be a little.faster though. Overall excellent.
Thoroughly recommended
Not my first time of playing but cannot praise the condition of the course enough. It's not the longest but just demonstrates that it doesn't have to be long to be challenging. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed. The course lulls you in with a short par 4 to start and then hits you in the face with a really long par 4 that feels like a birdie if you make par.
First time playing
The first course that I booked in this area, it's quite ok , I'll bring my friends here again.
Great Course has had a lot of improvements recently
Great days golf, weather cloudy and cold but dry. The course is in good condition although could do with some rain. Greens were good the ball checked up well. Run off the fairway and you won't lose your ball but will find it challenging to make the Green. Shot a 78 gross from the yellows. The halfway hut only opens on Saturday so take some snacks and drink with you. Course is well laid out and will be enjoyable to both high and low handicappers.
book direct not on tee off time
not my first time there, people are friendly and the course nice with some interesting features. Just fell unhappy due to overprice on tee off time. would have had a better deal direct. Sad.
Decent course within M25
Course is fairly straightforward, a bit up and down and somewhat cramped - but generally well-kept (although the greens had been heavily sanded before our round). Views of central London from some holes. The area outside the bar would be a cracking place for a post round pint on a warm summer's evening. Pretty good, reasonably-priced option for this part of the world.
Lovely Course
Lovely little course & although the greens were quite wet it's amazing to be able to play this time of year.
Last week was my first. I'm going again tomorrow.
Fairways and greens are extremely well kept. Greens are fast and have various inclines, but a good challenge. A number of sand traps in critical places on fairways and in front of greens but avoidable if your approach is placed well. Par 5's can be long and on some fairways the trees, bushes and "weeds" can de difficult if you don't know the slope angles of the area of the fairway you chose for landing. Enjoy!!
