Herons' Reach Golf Resort

Quality track but a hard one specially when there’s wind around. Good bar for a beer n some food when your done n plenty of teles to watch the footy 👍🏾

Winter golf at is best, freezing conditions but the course stood up exceptionally well, played off all tees fairways and greens.

Although shorter winter course it didn’t spoil the golf, we did a good job of that ourselves 😂

Enjoyable course, weather with cold & ice didn't help but would play again in spring/ summer. Good layout a good test, but fair.

Normal visit the 19th after every round but couldn't find a spike bar if there is one, saw a sign saying no golf shoes passed this point which is fair enough but....

Played here on 3rd December. Been looking at playing here for a long time and finally made the trip over.

Overall very impressed considering its December course was in OK condition with no winter restrictions (one of the main reason we played here) fairways could have done with a cut but still in good condition and the greens were not bad either, apart from the odd in repaired pitch mark! However my main gripe here was the pace of play. I wouldn't say it was over busy but by hole 6 there was a 4 ball and 3 2 balls all on one hole either playing or waiting. This then became the story of every hole there after. I don't understand why us golfers have such an issue with letting faster groups through. Having read more reviews pace of play does seem to be an issue here.

Half the greens were hollow tined , fairways hadn’t been cut in a while so there was no definition between fairway and rough.. Disappointing and not worth the money

Great course in fabulous condition. Interesting holes with water features and undulating greens.

Having been a member 25 years ago it was great to return and play this great course again.

Very enjoyable round on a Monday afternoon. Hardly anyone else out on the course.

Greens were a little grubby and rough, but fairways in great condition.

Played here a few times and usually it is in mint conditions and you don’t have to do much waiting around. Played on Friday on a day where it looked like they’ve overbooked their tees. Waiting ages on every tee with a queue in front and behind us. The greens were in awful conditions too, all bumpy and looked dead in a lot of patches, not what you’d expect from this course at all.

The course layout is fantastic. The holes are challenging and exciting. However, the greens were the worst greens I’ve ever played. The ball bobbles and doesn’t hold its line, making it frustrating to hole putts.

Played on Tuesday in high winds, the greens were not great and course needs attention. Worst we got stuck behind a social group so our two ball took 4 1/2 hours
