The Quarry Golf Course

The course was very interesting with two different styles of course - links and rock quarry. The course condition was very good though greens were a bit slower than expected perhaps because of recent rains. The staff we superb trying to do their best to work with our Golf Now tee time around two tournaments.

It was wet and windy but I shot the best round of my life. The course is amazing, greens are true, and well maintained all around. Get it on a hot deal and it is the best bang for the buck you can find.

Perhaps it was because we were playing in winter conditions (i.e. February in light rain), but based on what I had read I expected more, basically came away disappointed. Would I play this course again for that price? No. Perhaps I would play again at a twilight rate. Great staff, very nice.

All was great... in fact was late a couple of minutes and they worked us in. It had rained so it was cart paths only which wasn't all bad. I would play again. We played it 6100 yards which for me was a bit short but 6700 was to long for my partner that plays once every two months. Views are great.

Some long part 4's and for the guys very challenging hits over the quarry on the back 9. Love to okay this course.

Course was great. Staff very friendly. However bar and restaurant was closed due to maintenance. Don’t understand why work wasn’t performed in the evening after hours.

My husband and I played here recently for the third time. We enjoy the course - several challenging holes, friendly staff. The only downside is that you can't warm up on the range with anything other than irons, but we do find that at several older courses. We were able to play alone on a weekday and we finished our round in 3.5 hours. We had to wait for the threesome in front of us a few times, but generally speaking the pace of play was good. Look forward to playing here again when winter is over and the grass is no longer dormant.

Fairways were dormant, but the greens rolled nice/true. Loved the course layout and will be back when the course is in prime condition.

The greens are hard to read. Frequently we putted 3 or 4 times on the same hole.

Worth playing. Good course, interesting never dull. Long pars three's from pro tee's, long rough to swallow your ball. Challenging when windy

My husband and I enjoyed our round of golf at the Quarry on a breezy day. I found the greens tricky fast on some holes, but overall we had a good day. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The pace of play was great and we finished our round in just over 3 hours. Only downside was the driving range because it's limited to irons only, and the first hole really requires a good drive. Definitely plan to return!

A public course on par with just about any course in Texas, absolutely impeccable condition, very gregarious staff, check-in went like clock work, very good driving range but limited to irons only, outstanding restaurant. I ate breakfast and it was delicious. I would recommend this course to anyone, a very good experience playing here, will do it again soon.
