The Quarry Golf Course

Very interesting course, unique setting close to a mall. The back nine are just great, built in a natural bowl, which gives you signature views. Greens are in great shape. Was really fun to play

It Was a rainy day but course was in good shape. Greens were slow because of rain. I recommend this course.

I loved this course! Very nice Fairways and the greens were Immaculate. Pace-of-play was awesome, and the layout was gorgeous! The staff and people there were extremely friendly. Highly recommended!

The course and playing conditions were great; however, no one came with drinks during the entire front nine of the course and one of the water coolers was completely empty. We were parched to say the least. Our cart had trash in it and we were not provided any range balls although we had purchased them. The course is visually challenging. If you normally play courses in the east, this will certainly be an adventure. Shout out to the starter...he was a great help!

We visited San Antonio before and played this course. It was everything we remembered. This is a great course and worth playing if you are in the area. It was in great condition. Pace of play was reasonable. Good value for money.

Course conditions were excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Could not ask for better golf outing!!

We had a strong wind which made keeping the ball in play a challenge on the front nine. The greens were still recovering from being aerated a month prior. As such, some chips did not bounce well. Also, putts we're slightly affected. These are my only complaints.

The routing is intriguing and you must control you tee shots. The quarry is unique and visually amazing. Make sure you know your yardages for landing zones. This is really a challenging but fun course. Enjoy!

Excellent course with lush and maintained fairways along with bunkers. Great layout from the back 9 to front 9.

The Quarry was in great shape. Play begins on the back 9 ensuring you get to play all the holes inside the quarry. I have played most of the courses in San Antonio and this is definitely one of my favorites.

Front 9 is more of a links-style open layout without much elevation change, but a good routing. Lots of fescue separating holes. Back nine is the tougher side and really plays in/around the old Quarry. Very creative layout without being tricked up or gimmicky. Nice club house. Irons only on the range, but they make the best use of their real estate they can with a large practice green and separate chipping area.

Found a great deal on Golf Now for a tee time at the Quarry for $38 at 11:40am on a sunny Friday. Can't beat this course. Front and back 9 are like two different courses. I agree with some people when they say hole 17 is one the most gorgeous in the entire state of Texas. Great conditions, greens in excellent shape, staff is more than accommodating and cold beer during happy hour. This is a must visit golf course.

Always enjoy playing this course. It was hot but when isn't it in Texas. Great layout and always in great shape...

The course was extremely esthetic and pleasing to the eye, however it was very challenging if you did not hit the ball straight off the Tee.

I have driven by this course many times and have always wanted to play there and I'm glad I did. It was a great experience with very friendly staff and very friendly players

Well organised and managed course - greens a little bumpy from being drilled of recent time. Some tight fairways that punish being off the line but some straightforward holes particularly on the front nine.
