Even though it had been raining for few days including hrs before we teed off, the course drained very well and it wasn't water logged at all. A few challenging wholes and a great place to play golf.
Dunscar GC
Excellent round, played early, course And greens in good condition . Some testing holes, hard on the knees at times , great views of scout road!
What an absolute gem of a course.
Fantastic course; very well looked after. Challenging holes throughout but a delight to play. First time here but will definitely return soon.
Course in mint condition
Really good course....well looked after and moraines to a high standard...everyone really friendly
Great Course
A great moorland style course which will challenge all levels of golfer.
However if you don't like undulating golf courses with rarely a flat lie, Dunscar isn't for you.
The course is always in great condition & the local members are always friendly.
Best course I've ever played.
A beautiful and well maintained course. Picturesque and challenging, I enjoyed every hole and the various challenges they offered. Every member I passed offered me a cheery wave or hello which is a credit to the club and it's members.
100% will play again and reccomend to anyone that gets the chance to go for a round.
Nice course
Very nice course, set up of the holes is good and some tricky shots needed to be played, even in damp conditions course was still in very good conditions
Sunday golf
Great little gem friendly staff we had a really great day it was like playing millionaire golf
First timer
1st time playing this course. Very well maintained, greens were excellent. A nice challenge on a beautiful day. I can imagine wind and rain come in it would A bit more of a challenge. All in all a very nice course. Will definitely be going again.
Getting better
A great course amongst quite a few in the near locality and on a par with them all was windy today and a few showers didn't prevent me having a good round
Dunscar - a place of beauty
A beautiful course in beautiful surroundings. Massive improvement since I last played here, definitely worth a visit.
Lovely course
Fist time here is a bit sore on the old legs but the holes are all interesting and you have to think about the shots you play also the staff and members were very nice people
Greens and fairways in good condition with some challenging tight t shots with OB in place.
Excellent Course
Great value for money with many £10 deals available. Great condition with brilliant views of Bolton. It's a high course up in the sticks so I can imagine it getting very windy on certain days.
Quite a tight badly conditioned track leading to the clubhouse, but a large carpark on arrival.
It's also fairly quiet in the mornings here, whilst others at the same time are on the busy side.
Good variety of holes with a couple of dog legs, long and short Par 3's also.
Highly recommended
In good condition considering recent rain
Fairways and in particular the greens in great condition considering amount of rainfall the previous week. Really liked the layout of the course but some of the holes on the back 9 (from 10-15) are tight. Overall a good challenge
