Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Club

Squeezed a round in before the second lockdown. The course was in fantastic condition. Greens beautiful and very quick. Will be back early next yr.

Tried using GolfNow for the round but the app scorecard did not match the card from the clubhouse.

JUst a beautiful links course, played on a lovely day. Very busy with a charity day which slowed play and left us playing the last in rapidly fading light. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon though. While the light held we had plenty of time to enjoy the magnificent views of the ruined castle and the abundant bird life around the course.

Great course, spectacular views and we had the most amazing weather to help. The course was rammed, which resulted in a very slow round and we were often waiting on the tee box. Overall a great day with 5 pars and a birdie

We had a great round this week. Greens are very fast with challenging contours. Friendly staff, but very little golf equipment so bring your own!

Course and greens in great condition. Would happily play this links course again. Great views throughout the round.

Very windy for our round at Dunstanburgh which made play difficult but we still enjoyed the round at this very scenic and interesting golf course. Negative aspects - greens had been heavily spiked which made putting a bit of a lottery and the course shares it's car park and cafeteria with walkers and other visitors - there are no specific facilities for golfers and the car park is to small which results in difficulties at busy times with inconsiderate drivers double parking and blocking people in - the club needs to give consideration to purchasing some additional land for parking and improving facilities.

Lovely links course. Excellent views. Interesting layout and course in very good conditions. Greens treatment was taking place today so some delays. Parking was difficult fortunately we arrived early so were able to wait for a space.

Great course, well maintained, Interesting holes and fantastic views. Good food served from the clubhouse.

Played this on a windy, drizzly day. Greens were superb. Fantastic views whilst playing is always a treat.

Golf course is very nice, good layout great views a real good links. if that all your after, great.

However the bar service needs attention.

Bar and clubhouse closed at 5pm despite a full course of players requiring toilets facilities and refreshments. Maybe they don’t need any Bar money or returning guest?!

Left a sour taste after a lovely round of golf.

Classic links layout and some beautiful views across Embleton bay. Excellent greens and a testing finishing hole.
