Great value

Great value, course in good condition. Seaside fairways are very dry and hard after weeks of sunny weather. Greens are good; putted well. Interesting mix of holes, well worth a visit if you're looking for a round by the sea.

Interesting course difficult in the wind

It was quite windy when we played and as the course has several shared fairways makes for tricky drives, otherwise a nice course friendly staff and good value for money

Holiday golf

Fabulous location for a round in the good old sea air with stunning views to enjoy along the way. Very reasonably priced golf & good facilities when you reach the 19th. Will be back next year!

Crazy Golf but enjoyable course

Quirky course. Played in very high wind approx 25-35mph gusts so wouldnt judge the course too much in them conditions. Greens and tees were great, fairways very patchy and needing more rain. Crazy crossing over of fairways on some holes and had to keep a keen look for walkers and dogs, as walkers paths were part of the course on some holes. Excellent location for golf and staff were friendly enough in bar and cafe. Some cracking holes, namely the 10th and 15th par 3s. Approach to 16th green was a challenge to say the least! I would love to play it again on a calmer day. Great patio area at the 19th for a pint in the sunshine!

Great Little Course

Great little course with some lovely par 3’s. Played at twilight rate of £22 so well worth the green fee. Would definitely play again, staff welcoming, nice clubhouse with veranda for a couple of post round drinks.

Great Value and Great Course

Played today for the first time and really enjoyed it. Course was excellent and the greens were true and fast. As others have mentioned it can initially feel a little confusing playing parallel or even crossing other holes but it’s fine when you are out there and read the signs and notes on the scorecard. Bacon sandwich and coffee was excellent and there was a real “friendly vibe” about the place. Definitely recommended.

Great fun course

My boys and I played the course while on holiday and had a very enjoyable afternoon. The course is a great mix of fun and challenging holes. Course in great condition for time of year. There are a few holes where you share the fairway but don't let that put you off.

Just gets better

Played Seahouses three or four times now and it’s improving all the time, it was sunny but cool day we played it was a Wednesday apparently a quite day at Seahouses so no catering which didn’t bother us. Hats off to the greenkeepers who are putting in the hard work. The staff in the clubhouse are friendly and helpful.

Great course and Value

We all really enjoyed the course, had a nice welcome in the bar on arrival. It’s an interesting course with some by the coast and some holes inland over the road. It was in great condition and the greens played well. The first few holes are a bit tight with fairways close together but it easier off as we got further in. Certainly some challenging holes and great fun. We just wish the weather held up for the back 9, we got very wet 😂

Great value Links course

Unbelievable little course this, especially for the price and considering the £85 per round bamburgh castle is only a few miles up the road! Some Unbelievable par 3's over and along cliff sides overlooking the north sea. I said little course as well as its only a par 68 with only one par 5 but that takes nothing away from the course! Great value especially if you play after 3pm where it is only £20. Only down side for me is the occasional shared fairways which slows pave down a touch but apart from that I would highly reccomend this links course!

Wonderful Day at Seahouses Golf Club

Played Seahouses on the 13/8/2023. The welcome from the clubhouse staff was very friendly and they were so helpful. The course itself played really well and the greens were absolutely fantastic and so true. Although not the longest course on the Northumberland coast, it still a very tricky test of golf, especially if the elements are against you. The par 3 10th and 15th are the two iconic holes of the course. Select your club of choice wisely, or you could end up in the drink on both holes.

We had an awesome days golf at Seahouses, the course is first class if a little bit quirky in places. The clubhouse staff were very accommodating, polite and welcoming. The end of pint “Madri” was a welcome relief and enjoyed fully on the vast sun-drenched veranda that looks out across the whole of the course.
