Links But Not..

A nicely laid out course that has some links holes, but quite varied with parkland holes too. A quite forgiving course, with some long Par 4s that may benefit from one or two more par 5s. Members were welcoming and speed of play adhered to. Overall a pleasant course with some lovely views over the east coast cliffs.

Filey Golf Course

This was the first time I had played the course. The views were stunning on the 1st 17th and 18th across Filey Bay. The course was in very good condition considering all the rain. A couple of the holes were wet but still playable. I would definitely play this course again.

Lovely course for all

Lovely course in excellent condition. Fairly short, quite a few par 4s under 350 yards. Beautiful holes on top of the cliffs overlooking Filey. I played on a calm day but imagine it would be tricky when it's blowing hard. A bit hilly on some holes which make them more interesting. Greens smooth and true. Got stuck behind a slow 4 ball who didn't offer to wave need through so a long round. Didn't sample the off the course facilities.

A very scenic and beautiful course.

One of the most beautiful courses I've played with scenic sea views from some holes. The course and greens are well looked after making it a worthwhile experience.
