Filey Golf Club - Main Course

My wife and I booked online and really enjoyed our round at Filey. We found the course itself very scenic and well looked after. The greens ere in good nick as were the wide forgiving fairways. I can imagine the course would be far more challenging in windy conditions and we were very fortunate to play in still, warm weather. Chatted to ground staff on the way round who were informative and friendly as were the staff in the clubhouse. All in all a very enjoyable experience and I would recommend Filey unreservedly.

A bright windy afternoon, really enjoyed our 2 ball. Definitely recommend but challenging. The service in the bar was fab and Guinness awesome.

Warm friendly & very welcoming. On arriving at course went to club shop to say I was there. Asked who I was due to play with & was told who. Now I’m not going to say this will happen to everyone but was told if I fancied getting off & playing by myself that I was welcome to do that as there was nobody going out for at least 1/2hr. Whilst out on course, the members that I came across where extremely welcoming. The course was in a great condition for time of year (23rd Oct)

Looking at trying to get back in early summer

First time I played this course, thoroughly enjoyed the round the greens were in good condition and reasonably paced.Would recommend it to anyone.Thanks for a good game.

I gave it top rating for everything.

The second time my wife and I have played it.

The first time being last year on a windy rainy day.

It was still excellent. All the staff an members were very friendly, especially the Professional.

The booking experience was easy and excellent value at £34 for 18 holes for two at miday.

Played Monday 17oct course superb greens excellent fairways very obliging pro shop will be back.

Excellent course and club all round. Staff and members very friendly and welcoming. Green keeper chatted to us on 18th tee, asked how we enjoyed course and even took a photo of our group! Greens had just been lightly sanded which was a pity, but it needs to be done sometime (we were unlucky there I guess!). Enjoyed a nice post round lunch and drink also. Will definitely be back!

The course is excellent layout and good condition. However pro shop was locked. Not a problem as using teeofftimes you have already paid. Just as long as you can get your chants obviously a card. One of members gave us one.

Fantastic course with good views and great holes. All course in good condition, with good greens. Perfect weather, shame about the pace of play, we were wedged in between a number of 4 balls in visiting parties, and a round that usually takes 3.5 hours took nearly 5 hours. Pace of play not acceptable!! and may well put me off booking this again.
