Good overall experience
Good experience despite the middle aged man working in the golf shop was very rude when me and my friend arrived looked down upon us was very snobby and was just unecceserally rude. Everyone else we spoke to was great besides him and the course is amazing.
The Arden’s baby brother didn’t disappoint
Escaped north to avoid the rain in Essex on the bank holiday and picked up a £25 round at the Forrest of Arden’s number two course. Exceptional value. Course condition as you’d expect from a destination venue. Layout a nice challenge but not as tricky as the main Arden course. Hugely enjoyable. Only slight gripe was that the range was closed for ‘manual ball retrieval’; strange decision on a BHM but otherwise couldn’t really fault it.
Excellent layout
Great price
Greens very good for this time of year
Unfortunately I could not do it justice
Not the Fault of the course just the golfer.
Great course.
Conditions haven’t been great, but for the most part all fairways were in fair condition. Some boggy parts around rough but thats expected. Greens in great condition, can’t fault them at all. All holes open and no temp greens which was nice.
Great course
Even with the wet conditions the course played really well
It's a really good course for all high and low handicap
Had a really nice day great golf venue would play here again
Wet December
Despite it being a wet pre Christmas game the greens played nicely with no winter greens. Boggy in places but overall was a good day, will be going again.
Very enjoyable course with excellent facilities

Great price
Course was very boggy in parts but couldn’t complain for the cost. Have played this a few times in better conditions and is a great course. Would highly recommend.
Jack Frost nipping at your nose.
It was very frosty and white balls disappeared in the rough but for the weather conditions we had an enjoyable day. Staff were very friendly as usual and facilities are excellent.
Amazing course for the price
Got a round for £25 and considering the weather lately the course was In fantastic condition. For the same price as you’d pay for 18 at most courses this is a level above. Short but still challenging makes for a super fun afternoon out.
Great course and service
Staff came to find me before my round to get me out ahead of time so as my group could clear a society and not get held up.
I've never known a service like this, outstandingly thoughtful.
Under appreciated
Said for many years the Aylesford is overlooked as everyone wants to get on the Arden, its a lovely second course and due to the rough was very difficult to play
