Fairly good course.found it to be pretty easy going even with the heavy wind..it is a nice course but I personally prefer a bit more of a challenge it’s flat and most of the holes are straight.was in good condition pretty firm quite good greens just not really my type of course but would recommend to other people staff were pleasant and helpful

Pleasant well maintained course. Lots of bunkers and some water. Enjoyed it and its a long course but maybe a bit samey ...but others around york have greater appeal and are a but more interesting

Played the other day here. Good course, well worth the money. Greens are generally elevated and were rock hard which made stopping the ball on them very difficult. The course is open and this means it is windy which makes long par 5s Into the wind difficult. Big plusses is the condition of the course which was excellent. I will be back!

First time playing here, course was great only problem we had was getting stuck behind a 4 ball that didn’t let us through for about 10 holes but can’t be helped! Will definitely play again!

17th very challenging hole Either right of the great oak or straight over "beeches brook", Here Enzo braved beaches and went 100 yards further ,,,peach of a shot. Heres looking back towards the tee . In Enzoes words "this course is a hidden gem"...

The course is great value for money and offers many challenges including trees and water. The greens are decent, however some of the bunkers could do with more sand in. The weather slightly spoilt my experience during this visit as it rained constantly for 3 hours.

course very flexible with tee time , very welcoming attitude by staff. very quiet so pace of play fantastic under 3 hours for 18, course is a good layout for friendly round of golf, wide fairways and course has a couple interesting dog legs but pretty much out in front of you which playing first time made it easier.

Fairways decent, greens played better than they looked which was good, they looked patchy and rough but were ok.

Overall for £20 great value

Husband and wife team simply enjoying a sunny afternoon playing golf. Everyone we encountered either in the car park or on the course were very friendly and welcoming.

Good value for money.

Enjoyed the course layout but watch out for the water!!

Played here a few years ago. Decided to return. Was worth the drive from hull.

The course was very quiet mid week.

Greens staff very friendly. Stopped to let us play up etc.

The woman in the cafe was very friendly. Made a mean bacon egg and mushroom sandwich.

Shop was a tad under stocked but the guy was very chatty and helpful.

Course has some great feature holes. Greens accept a ball well and are well guarded by bunkers.

A lot of thinking holes off the tee too.

Will return soon.

Played the course a couple of times before. Course conditions were excellent. The greens in particular were the best I have seen in a good while. Receptive to spin but fast and true.
