A great fair challenge
First time playing here, very impressed with course set up and in get condition in even this hot weather we are having.. definitely will go back there
Haigh hall
Wouldn’t want to pay anymore than the current price, not bad for a municipal - some of the tees quite scruffy

Played haigh hall now for a few years it’s a great course good lay out, my only fault with the course are the greens could be a little better.. but for the money you pay I think it’s great value
Top course
Great course fairways were in top nick and greens were good aswell
Highly recommended open design nothing too tight.
Really nice open course no holes too tight. A very relaxed pace of play. No feeling the pressure of catching people or being caught. Price very reasonable.
Absolute joke
Turned up and all was well......... Then suddenly the guy in the tractor starts mowing away, nor only did he mow the hole that was on, he decided to drive straight over my ball that I'd just hit. 5 separate holes he decided to mow at the same time of playing. Bearing in mind this is a Friday morning in summer, common sence suggests to get that done when the course is closed because it only goes dark late.
Not only that, the greens looked like someone opened up on them with an mg42 and make it more bobbly than a winter hat.
It wasn't just us annoyed at this, everybody thought it was rediculous.
Oh and clear sign posts to the next hole wouldn't go a miss.

the major flaw are the greens, some of which are poor, whilst others were ok
Great conditions
Had the odd hole where I was waiting to tee off but on the whole a good day.
Very poor condition
Well I have played this course before and been impressed but sadly this evening my friend and I after so long looking forward to a game played this course and it was in very poor condition. Fairways were full of daisies and the semi rough was horrendous lost a lot of balls after hitting them down the fairways how this can be seen as a good course Is unreal very lazy green keeping greens in poor condition and quite frankly will never play this course again!! Very disappointed and will go elsewhere from now on!
Out of the darkness
It was good to play 18 holes again after lockdown. Like the layout apart from hole 17. Course still a little wet but most greens were reasonable
