Total quagmire

Please, please sort the drainage. Every hole bar the 18th was a squelchy mess.

The pace of play was so slow that we skipped 4 holes. Will not be back in a hurry. Gutted as the course set out is excellent.

Not great…

I head great things about this course, but as I showed up the lady at the front desk was constantly on the phone—they seemed a bit short staffed…

They no longer have a practice area, and although I didn’t see the driving range, I’m sure it’s probably very basic.

The course was horrible. It was not kept very well, greens were a bit rubbish, and overall the pace of play was a bit slow because of how bad the course was.

There were leaves everywhere which means me and my brother lost plenty of balls in them.

Overall nowhere near as good as I had anticipated. It’s cheap for a reason…

Maybe with better weather it could be decent, but you’re better off playing at another course.

Bad when wet

Extremely boggy after a couple days of rain. Assuming it’s a decent course when dry

Far to wet and boggy

Squelching under foot pretty much everywhere, should have been around £12 to play considering the overall general condition

Course way too busy

Course in good condition and has a good layout. Played on a sunny Wednesday and the course was way too busy. Queue of 3 groups on each tee after the back 9. Had to walk off on hole 13.

Okay

Good round of golf really, but got ruined by the festival in the park doing karaoke on what seemed like full volume. This may just be a one off but the course it’s self was great

Poor layout, no signage

Upon entering the park, there is no signage at all for the golf course or where to park etc.

After asking a passer by we managed to locate the correct car park which is the main large car park for the adventure play area.

Then there was no signs to navigate you to the clubhouse, again we asked a passer by to show us the way to the club house which is the main visitor centre.

Finally we managed to sign in and get to the first tee.

Then from then after playing each hole there are no signs directing you to the text tee as the layout is poor. The course overall is in good condition with some nice holes but I would recomment the owners to invest in signs for each hole for anybody who has not played the course before.

Very busy, getting greedy.

Played here several times, it's an OK course, but today we played and it was far too busy.

4 minutes between tee times, (I asked the group ahead and behind us), always three groups on each hole, waiting for people ahead to clear.

Several times a ball came flying through us without any warning,

Tbh, this course has got greedy and is possibly dangerous.

Sorry for the bad review, but leave at least 8-10 minutes between tee times.

Not in a rush to come back because of this.

Saying that, the staff in the shop and cafe were very polite. So something good I guess.
