Hart Common Golf Club - Main Course

Great variety of holes, it's long, but it's not just full of "up and down long holes". Quite forgiving off most tees but then the approaches are very tricky so mid to high handicappers have to think about laying up on most of the long par 4s or risk a bunker or hazard.

The greens had just been micro tined a couple of days earlier so they weren't as quick as what they probably are...but they were still quick!

Would definitely play it again.

Played on a Saturday, no mention of it being the “club masters tournament” anywhere on the site before booking, round took 5 hours in total with waits on every tee box, just pathetic!

Great course in great condition. Found other players a bit snobby and it puts me off to be honest… need to be a little more tolerant and welcoming

Reall hard to read greens but an overall week maintained and challenging course

Just went down by myself one afternoon. Excellent course and great value for money

Played on Monday with my lad and the course itself was in great condition.

You can see where there has been work on the drainage, which is good for future rounds ( which I am sure we will partake). The tees weren't in great condition as they are all being worked on and have been seeded. That said they were consistent and well signed.

The only slight issue I had was the depth of sand in the bunkers, of which there are plenty. The sand itself was of the heavy bunker type and twice I grounded my club on what appeared to be a liner!

So all around a good course, well priced and I would recommend it easily

This being our first round here, proved to be a lovely challenge!! Every hole had a hazard, and proved to be superbly individual! There was plenty of opportunities to loose a ball, but equally to test your skill as a golfer to negotiate the uniqueness of the hole. The greens were in excellent condition, the fairways clean and well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our round, and are really looking forward to playing the course again- especially as we now know what’s coming!! Thankyou to all staff at Hart Common for a lovely experience.

As I said, lovely course and very challenging. However, it’s just full of snobs and entitled people. How can the sport let alone the club expect new golfers and the younger generation to get involved in the sport if people act like they are royalty. Just be normal and humane, encourage fresh faces and the right people will find you.

Really nice course, very playable with open fairways but also offers more challenging holes. Greens and fairways in excellent condition.

Only criticism is that the clubhouse is closed on Mondays and a sandwich for my lunchtime

round would’ve been great. Definitely recommend it.

Another great round at Hart Common. We travelled over from Warrington and it was well worth it. Great course, challenging layout and the greens are amazing. Would highly recommend playing this course.

Was really pleasantly surprised at how well groomed the course was. Has some cleaver short holes and nice long ones as well

This was a brilliant course don’t know what the fuss was about everyone we spoke to was happy to help or showing you to the holes brilliant showing you features where to aim loved every penny x
