Hart Common Golf Club - Main Course

Played this course a lot in the summer great place to play golf and very good value for money played it again on Sunday and was amazed how good conditions were considering the weather wee bit wet in bits but generally good

Not played here for year but was very impressed,the course is in fantastic condition, green staff working hard keeping the course in good condition plus remote mowers all over the course.greens were nice and fairways.only negative the tee boxes but it it late in the year and seen alot of golf and few pitch marks not repaired by selfish golfers but that's by not fault of the course.great value and this time of year will take some beating for £16.99 and don't see that unless being signed in as a guest at a nice course.grewt track and tough back closing 3holes would recommend buggys if u Wana pay the extra.

We had read good reviews of the course and that it offered great value for money. We arrived on Monday not too sure how the conditions would be with the recent wet weather. We needn't have worried. Apart from a few muddy spots in dips and the rough, both the fairways and greens were in fantastic condition. The course is a good test with some very challenging holes, especially if windy. We will definitely be back. I must say a big thanks to the staff who helped me after I became rather unwell, there is no way I could have walked back to the pro shop. Feeling a lot better now and just waiting for blood results

Very good course all-round, tee blocks, greens, fairways, definitely recommend.

Well maintained with generally wide fairways and tricky greens. Greens fairly quick and in very good condition. Interesting holes needing some thought at times. An enjoyable round.

Brilliant course , fairways and greens were on point , great friendly staff pace of play was very slow but could be expected with the sun being out I suppose plus the price was excellent.

We have played this course in the past and never experienced such slow play. On previous occasions it took 4hrs for a 4 ball (which is slow but manageable).

On this day it took 5.5 hrs for 4 ball and we were waiting on every tee. A real shame as it's a great course but speaking to members, they informed us that it's always slow, even more so on weekends !

The club should do something about it, possibly a bigger gap between tee times or marshals to ensure groups are keeping up a good pace.

Played 18 holes today. Pace of play was quite slow as a course of this standard at this price (£22), will always be busy. Didn’t mind the slow pace though as the course overall was immaculate. Tee boxes probably the only element that needs work. Fairways outstanding (helped by the little robot mowers you see everywhere) and the greens were like carpet. Lightning fast so would take several rounds to get use to if you are not use to it.

Played this course twice last week and had a great time both rounds. Course is in great condition give or take one or two tee boxes but other than that no complaints what so ever. Good value for money and I’m sure I will be back again soon.

Probably the best value for money course in the North West. I've played at courses that cost 5 to 6 times more and not as good as Hart Common. Actually played it sensibly (kept the driver in the bag) and had birdie putts on 6 of the 1st 7 holes, 3 putted 3 of them but that wasn't the greens fault.

Absolutely love playing at HC. The course is always in great conditions, greens are exceptional and you can see the effort that goes in to maintaining this course. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Thank you!

For £18, I don't think you'll play a better course. Greens are excellent and the fairways very good. I've paid a lot more for coursees nowhere near this good.

The course was in fantastic condition especially the greens which where immaculate. The course is tough and long but worth every penny.

Played after a week of rain but the course was in brilliant condition a few wet patches but other than that was perfect the greens where excellent

Has changed slightly in the last week now has lots of water hazards.

Pace of play was good we did have to let 4 ducks play through on the 13th. Good course with lots of new water hazards. Can’t comment on the clubhouse food and drinks as closed on Mondays.

Lovely course. Well worth the money. Would t even know it’s been hammering with rain lately. Will be back.

Brilliant course really well kept greens perfect staff really friendly and helpful not a single hold up on any hole perfect round of golf in beautiful surroundings

Does extremely congested, slows you right down.. person behind me took his tee shot whilst i was still approaching the green. His shot whizzed by me.. need to extend tee off times during busy periods to allow good flow, rhythm and preventing serious injury. Otherwise great course, close to home

Lovely challenging course some tough holes. Greens are superb, best I've played on all year. Great value for money.
