Conditions
The course conditions were good even though we've had a lot of rain. Some of the paths were a bit muddy but the fairways and greens were good.
Wrong week
Shouldn’t have played this round as it was half term week and the course was full of people who didn’t know the etiquette of golf, greens were als very woolly.
Mixed bag
Good facilities but greens had been worked on and no-one told us and was charged normal fee. Nothing rolled true on them
Awfull greens
Greens had been spiked and laced with sand. Not just a little bit of sand, it was like trying to putt in a sand pit. We wasn't warned before hand, we wasn't offered any sort of discount, if we had known how awful they were, we would have played somewhere else. When we told the staff, they just told us to send an email. Would of had more fun trying to putt on bournemouth beach
Potential
Greens good but suffering from birds digging!
First 9 good.
13/14 a scruffy corner. Could the part 3 be lengthened?
More bunkers needed all over to increase the challenge.
Loads of potential to be a more up market course.
Doing well .
Bit of investment needed.
No bad
Course starting to get dry, greens being plagued by crows so not very good, had a clear round no one in front or behind so got round very quick.
Andrew
The course has never been the best of conditions but okay. However, the bunkers were disgraceful. Absolutely, no excuse to be in that condition. If i were the green keeper I would be ashamed. No Excuse! Simple maintenance,
First time at course
Played with a friend after moving to area. Very good value for money. Course very flat but interesting layout, however rough very penal and as soon as you stray off the fairway impossible to find your ball. Good all round experience with very good off course amenities.
5 Ball in football boots
Somehow there happened to be a 5 ball on the course, in football boots and drinking cans at 8:20 in the morning, it took 1 hour to complete 2 holes a further 1 1/2 hours to complete another 5 holes, before i had to have my say (besides calling for course management to have a word of which no real result took place other than them backchatting the staff) play here quite often but with the kind of people/etiquette allowed, suggest staying away until the fair weather/newbies are gone
Twilight Round
The course is average, could do with some sand in the bunkers & care around & on the greens. The downside was the fact that golfers could start on the 1st or 10th, so when we finished on the 9th we had to que for the 10th, at this point we gave up!!
Good Course
Always fun to play. Some tricky holes but great value. It's good to play as a singleton as well. No pressure.
Better Condition
Course in much better condition than it normally is, needs tidying up around greens and tees.
