Playgolf Bournemouth - Bridge Course

Had a game while on Holuday in Bournemouth.

V enjoyably, fairways bone dry but tees and greens lush.

Must have watered them.

Greens nice pace and would hold a good struck ball which is important.

Loved the 3.5 hr game.

Excellent value Fo money on this course. Course very dry and firm due to the weather but greens very good if a little on the slow side. Stray off the fairway and the rough is penal

Course has greatly improved in a last few months. Greens much nicer - great place to play

Not a bad public course but the lack of a Marshall to speed play up spoils what could be a good day , needs a tidy up on course, fairways need work and greens a little slow.

Great course for the price,greens very good and true,shortish but not easy,some tight some risk reward,enjoyed it,dont play if your a snobby golfer( t shirts and jeans on some)overall nice club,everyone there friendly.(58 year old 6 handicapper)

Course was in very good condition. Best I’ve seen it (& I’ve played it a lot over the years. Greens beautiful condition.

However be prepared to lose a lot of balls. Rough had been allowed to grow to a ridiculous length so that any ball leaving the fairway by even a small amount was likely to be lost.

I really like the course but the greens are badly affected by the sand/grit used and makes the ball deviate quite badly leading to some pretty frustrating putting, but enjoy the course layout and am considering membership

Good course to play especially during the week when a two ball can get round in three hours or less.

Value for money helps make it an enjoyable place to play. Excellent practice facilities and an American Golf store on site. The staff are very friendly and there is a good bar and catering.

Played this at 11.am on a sunny Tuesday .

Course in great knick.

Not busy .

With the Golf now hot deal 18.00 per round . Whats not to like .

Found the greens needed cutting and the need for a Marshall to speed up play.. We were a 2 ball with a buggie and it took 4 hrs 25 minutes to play 18 holes.

Excellent conditions on this course, the greens are smooth and the fairways are nicely cared for.

The course was very busy, so on turning up was told we were partnerd up with another pair which was unexpected so be prepared, but worked out to be ok and a good day

The course is in pretty good shape.,

Unfortunately the tee mats are awful.

You can’t get a tee in them as they are poor quality.

Even though you’ve put rubber tees in, they aren’t the correct height for everyone.

If you put in a decent quality mat, you’re course would be great.

Although the course was busy it took just over 3. 5 hrs to play 18 holes. The greens were true and quite quick for the time of the year. If you ignore all the pitch marks they are in good condition.. Overall course was in reasonable condition for time of year and amount of foot traffic
