Kirkbymoorside Golf Course

We loved playing kirkbymoorside today. A quirky track with so many different holes. I played horrendous but that was me and not the course. You can play it tactically or be very aggressive.

Greens very quick and as I play on flat greens struggled to read the slopes but again that is the golfers fault.

Great day had in our 4 ball. Will definitely be back and hopefully bring my game with me.

Interesting layout, not long, with many undulations across and along various holes. Some good dog leg holes ands some with nice elevation changes. No water

Greens 1 and12 have been relaid- green 1 was very poor and 12 was still using a winter green which is disappointing at this time of year

Played this course several times now and every time we have played it is good condition staff are very friendly,the bacon and egg butties are excellent.

I would recommend this course

Course in great condition apart from the disaster repair job on the first green and a temporary on 13. First time playing the course and found the nearly all the holes interesting across the valleys with hanging lies. Course tends to favour a left to right hitter and plays relatively short

First time playing here and I really enjoyed it. The course layout was nice, some holes were open and others more challenging off the tee. Scenery was also great. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely be back.

Great course at kirkby mooreside really enjoyed the round. There is room for improvement in my game as usual lol. First time i,vd played this course and I found it challenging enough to keep you interested on each hole and yet in the same breath forgiving as I had a few ball that I hooked or sliced with me driver and yet I was able to find my ball 99% of the time. I would put this down to the well kept fairways and the well thought out layout of the course. My only criticism would be needs more signage between holes especially on the 10th as we found our selves a little puzzled as to where to go. and today it was a winter tee off area that wasn't maked up at all and ended up walking down the bank to the summer tee off then being politely sent back up the calf busting bank to the winter tee. This said we all enjoyed our round and i will definitely be back to kirkby Mooreside in the future.

Enjoyable course in good condition for current circumstances will be going back later this year hopefully.

Really enjoyed another round at Kirbymoorside. The only disappointment was that 2 holes were out of commission as work was being done on them.

Have played this course as a visitor a few times. It is always in great condition, staff and other members have always been very helpful and friendly. Very good price considering the standard of the course. Leisurely pace of play, which personally suits how I like to play a round of golf. Would highly recommend.

Played this course in December, 4 holes were closed, but the staff dropped the fee accordingly. Considering there had been a lot of rain recently, the course was in great condition.
