My Favourite Course
I love this course, all year round, the drainage is good, challenging course, specially when there is wind, but overall I couldn’t fault the course, as I say, my favourite course to play on
Good scoring course
It took me a few holes to find the pace of the greens, plus every green has many subtle slopes. However, I managed to avoid any serious trouble which enabled me to play to my handicap
Fantastic Little Gem of a Course
First time played here and loved it, would recommend to anyone, we will be revisiting Kirkbymoorside again.
We found front nine is a little easier than the back nine,
Stunning scenery, well looked after fairways and greens.
Brilliant course.
Just brilliant all round.
The course is beautiful, interesting, well thought out and a great test of golf. It’s also in superb condition and both staff and members are really friendly.
Makes me wish I lived closer so I could become a member.
Highly recommend - 10/10.
Weekend away
Haven't played this course for almost 20 years.
In good condition and very varied layout so isn't boring.
Good challenge for all levels.

First time playing this course and enjoyed it very much. Quirky little 1st to start with and some unusual holes along the way. Very good looking course, will play again.

Always a great course to play. A bit of work being carried out on 1st & 13th greens at the moment or would be 5 stars.

An absolute gem of a course in great condition, most enjoyable round this year
Nice course spoilt
The course is nice enough to play and a decent test even on some of the shorter holes. However our round was ruined by getting stuck behind a four ball on the third who had no intention of waving us through. Not the fault of the course I know but perhaps they should vet visitors to ensure they understand the rules and etiquette
Met my expectations!! Stunning views
Was told by a fellow golfer to try this course out and im glad I did. Some of the holes are absoloutely stunning and the view and wildlife (Deer, Owls and Phesants etc) really make the course feel alive

Hidden Gem
Fantastic interesting undulat8ng course with some tight yet inviting driving holes .
Unfortunately 2 greens are still recovering from drainage work but the other 16 were first rate.
Good course
Very good course, if it wasn’t for the recent rain it would of been in great condition, 2 holes had drainage work, 1 being a temp green other than that could t fault it
