A North Yorkshire beauty. Shame about buggy.

Gorgeous course with beautiful surroundings. Pace of play was very good with some lovely, memorable holes.

Buggy could’ve been better. Cobwebs, dry mud plus little twigs and leaves were in it. You’d’ve thought it could’ve at least have been cleaned a tad.

Got the Hot Deal (£15). Well worth that! Lovely day overall.

Beautiful North Yorkshire golf

The booking was followed up with a phone call, the welcome and assistance on arrival was fabulous. Well kept course with long drives. First class pint of hand pulled ale at the end in the club house.

I would highly recommend the whole experience and venue.

Stunning

I played this course alone on the 16th September 19, what can I say absolutely stunning course. Really well kept. Scenery amazing over North Yorkshire.

The weather was great which always helps.

Only issue was I followed a 5 ball!! Members, they did offer to let me through but another 4 ball was in front so no need. Anyway the course was that good I didn't mind.

If your in North Yorkshire or can travel to this course I would highly recommend.

Nice test of Golf

Not the longest but tight fairways and punishing rough make it a test. All levels of golfer should enjoy. You can attack or play safe, hard greens and bounces can punish the gung-Hi approach.

Great golfing!

In stunning weather, 4 of us played Kirkbymoorside. With a challenging first hole you have to “switch on” to this course. The views are just stunning and at this time of year the autumn colours on the trees are beautiful. Most of the fairways are wide but there are slopes and hills to take into account for a good shot and lie. Some of the greens had been tined and unfortunately some of them were very heavily covered with sand but on the whole the ball ran pretty well. Preferred lies are in place.

Not for the faint hearted

What a fantastic course. We were welcomed by a great host in the pro shop and found all the clubhouse staff really friendly. The weather was sunny and quite warm so the course certainly became more of a challenge as we tired a bit. Considering the wet start to the year the course was in amazing condition, a real credit to the green keepers who were all out and a really cheery bunch too, moving aside to keep play going and waving as we passed. The terrain is really hilly so bear this in mind if your not so fit, I believe they do golf carts if your not the fittest. We're pensioners and will be returning.

Excellent course. A proper hidden gem. Every hole brings a different challenge. Fast undulating greens. Beautiful views over the rolling yorkshire moors.

Will definitely be returning for future rounds.

Great Day Out At Kirkbymoorside

We had an excellent family day of Golf. We played with our son who was visiting from Canada. The course was very quiet with many upgrades since we last played. The greens were quite fast and hard to stop a ball-on so quite challenging.

Course was in very good condition and has a few really interesting holes. The wind and lightening fast greens made it a real test. I would definitely play here again.

Outstanding value

Course was in great condition and the greens were superb, you could fire a four iron in from 190 yards and would stop within a few feet, overall we were very impressed, especially when we got it on a hot deal
