Knott End Golf Club

First time playing Knott end, first impressions when turning up was the course looked immaculate especially with the backdrop of the river Wyre, Irish Sea and views of the Lake District in the distance. On arrival no fault of Knott end we was notified that we would be following a society, unfortunately this took the shine of our first experience of playing the course as we were made to wait up to 5/10 mins between shots. Overall the course was in immaculate condition, greens ran quite slow but very true, nice selection of holes. Only negative apart from slow play was most of the greens are very close to the next tee and found it difficult at times to take on the pin due to the groups in front standing on the edge of the green waiting to tee off forcing you to either fire over their heads or change your shot selection.

Course in great condition, despite the rain we had a great round and drainage was good all round the course.

Always have a great time at this course. Weather aside the course didn't flood and was a good challenge.

Second time this year playing this course. Course is a short easy to walk course. First visit the greens were poor but this time they were immaculate and fast. Fairways were reasonably manicured but hard with the recent hot weather. We had a great afternoon. Thank you.

Good track a bit short for the big hitters tough par 3s but fabulous values and great views

We had a really enjoyable round, apart from the bottleneck of the 11th hole and 12th tee. This should be a call forward tee, Change the rules so that players moving to the 12th , allow players to play their first shots to the par3 11th, then those on the 12th drive off. When we played there were four different groups all queueing at the 11th tee box. Ridiculous, all because the group in front of us hunted for at least one ball on every hole, and some of this group were members !!!!!!!!!!

Course as good as ever,4 hour round as 2 ball behind an open competition unfortunately

Certainly recommend anyone to play this course, all staff vary friendly, and the course very challenging for the average golfer.

Travelled up to Blackpool and booked via Golf Now.

A very well presented links course with some challenging holes. The fairways are like dunes with gave some very tricky lies but good practice.

Not use to the windy conditions either.

The green was fast but in good condition and overall the place was very good!

We let a few members play through and they seemed a bit rude so probably wouldn't be so courteous in the future!

Would definitely recommend the course though!

Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Some super holes, beautiful setting, and mostly very forgiving. My only criticism would be the greens which are ok; not great not bad. They are a little patchy and bobbly in places. That said, will definitely play again.

Travelled from Nottingham only to find the Course closed due to Heavy Rain

Played yesterday with a friend. We were both first timers at this course and it really is a gem of a course. Very well maintained. 360° of amazing views on a clear day and would recommend to anyone to take the time to travel to this course as it is worth the journey. Then finish off in the 19th with a pint and a bag of fish and chips. Thank you KEGC we will return soon.

Views and golf course good . Only bad point is the greens are poor but we would play again. A course for all handicaps

Short corse. Greens not great but overall enjoyable.

A good mixture of short and long holes , a good test of golf . The only downer were the greens were a bit bare and dry . Would certainly go again. Paid £15 pp on hot deal
