Knott End Golf Club

An excellent day at a great course however it was very wet and i can’t wait to play when it’s dry.

I would recommend this course as great value for money.

Great course to play at this time of year, in very good condition. Have played a few times now and only problem is the speed of play tends to be rather slow by the regulars. This doesn't put me off though so will play again probably next summer

Knott End offers a big challenge to golfers. Being set so close to the coastline the coastal winds make the front 9 especially tricky.

The greens were lightning quick and clearly well maintained.

The layout of the course offers variety on the holes faced which makes for a good game.

Half links & half parkland, this is a great course, with some of the best quality greens in Lancashire. Just finished and the heavens opened, however we got a bit of sun burn, & a good seaside appetite.

Good conditions helped. Played this course before in wind and make a massive difference especially on the long par 3 2nd. Even though we had some rain earlier in the week the ground was solid. Very much a lynx type course progressing in to parkland. Greens could do with a bit more attention. Shot 12 over off 18 handicap. Good value for money. Would definitely play again and recommend.

Really enjoyed our day at Knott End g c, the course was in good condition for the time of year, the greens don't look good at the moment but sure they will improve over the next few weeks, they run very true though.

First few holes run along the waters edge so nothing for a slice and the later holes more woodland with some really nice views.

The pros shop is good with friendly staff and the bar is v nice.

Would really recommend a visit to KEGC.

Nice course, well maintained, not too challenging.

Course in good condition other than the greens, difficult to score due to uneven and under treatment surfaces. Not happy that it was cut by £6 the night before I played having paid £24!!

Won't be making that mistake again.

All in all it's a nice course in a great setting but need to give the greens some time to improve

Really like this course, bit of a drive to it but there's something I really like about courses next to the sea, the winter holes get muddled up so you have to pay attention to the signs, also you cannot play off the fairway at this time of year.

As with all course choices in winter I play courses that don't have drainage issues or very minimal, that strokes 80 percent of courses out, knott end seems to drain really well apart from 2 or 3 holes, can't wait to play it in summer.

Really enjoy Knott End Golf course it's a really friendly club and the staff could not be more helpful. Always a good deal to be had on teetimes, and some of the scenery is fantastic.

I've played it several times now and it is challenging for all.

A little disappointing today was it took almost 5 hours for a round, and despite backing up heavily the 4 ball responsible seemed oblivious to delay and didn't allow anyone to play through.

Don't let this put you off the course, facilities, and views are fantastic ;-)

the weather a few days prior to our round had been very wet but the course had held up well, all greens in use and in good condition, using mats of fairway or move to side. I have played this course a few times and have found the staff and members very friendly.

the course is a good challenge and a pleasure to play with a nice half way house for a break in your round.

Had a great days golf at Knott End.Superb little course with great views and surroundings.
Clubhouse and friendliness, both top drawer.
