Knott End Golf Club

Very good day out. The course was in good condition very enjoyable good fairways and greens we went on a good sunny day. I think it will be a big challenge when the weather is more windy. I would recommend the course to anyone to play. The Staff were friendly as well and helpful. I will go back and play there again

This is a nice course and well worth the visit even though it is a little off the beaten track.

Very reasonable price and good facilities considering recent events.

No boring holes and very good greens although the fairway grass was a little longer than expected,

There were groups on every hole and people leaving as well as waiting so very popular. Very windy along the estuary stretch which added to the challenge all in all a good course

played the course yesterday, the weather was horrible, but all 4 of us said we wanted to play again, hopefully on a better day. Great course.

Great course, very well maintained, great views. Quite forgiving for higher handicappers, not entirely intuitive in terms of layout but that's not a problem. Will definitely play here again.

Knott End is a friendly club which although not too difficult is well presented and is protected by the prevailing winds. It provides a thoroughly enjoyable day out.

Played this on a rainy day not much wind. Greens were excellent. I found that pretty much every hole was interesting and i was excited to step up on the tee box and hit my shot. Some great views out towards the Irish sea. Had a great time. Ladies behind us in the competition were very friendly and chatty think one was the lady captain. One sour point on the great day was a lady in the two ball behind the captain who shouted at us to hurry up no please or thank you. This was because we stopped walking past a t box were someone was teeing off. Etiquette? Not wanting to end on that note i will definitely go back!

Great course, that I've played a couple times in the summer. Today had a winter route, but it was really easy to negotiate, and no long walks to tee. Hole 11 was shut, which is a shame, because its a stunning hole. Everything bar walkways was in great condition, and the course is fantastic. It's like 2 completely different courses in one. Food and service top notch as well

You have to play this course as it is one of the tidiest and manicured for a reasonable price . Greens and fairways are superb with tee boxes excellent as well.

I played in an open comp the morning after a heavy night of rain & the course was in near perfect condition. It is open & forgiving but with interesting holes & lovely views. The clubhouse is very nice & the staff very friendly. I’ll definitely be back to play again

Good course in excellent condition. The greens were great and well maintained, as too were the bunkers!!! Too many courses show little care for their sand traps but all were in good condition .

Despite very dry weather the course was in great condition with very well tended greens. Interesting holes and not over long. Would benefit from better signage from the road to the clubhouse entrance and on course directions between holes.

First time playing at Knott End Golf Club yesterday. Course conditions were fantastic especially the greens. Just what you would expect from a links/parkland course.

The first 7 holes were a rolling links style with a gentle start in difficulty excluding the tough par 3 2nd hole and the long par 4 5th hole.

From there the course became more parkland style. Overall condition of the parkland style holes were still fantastic but course layout was not as impressive. Especially around holes 13 through 15.

From there in a tough finish apart from the short par 4 17th hole.

Overall an enjoyable round of golf and I would go back again.

Fantastic little course,with some cracking views. Course was in excellent condition with very good greens. The pro was a very helpful chap who made us feel welcome.

Course in brilliant condition, some very exciting holes

Arrived 45 mins early and was allowed straight out behind 2 members. Virtually had course to ourselves, enjoyed stunning views along first few holes, reaaly good layout and course in good condition apart from a few greens that hadn't recovered having recently been aereated, course could benefit from a few signs for next tees however on the occasions we weren't sure where to go there always seemed to be a friendly member on an adjacent hole who would point the way. All in all had a great day's golf that was more than matched by the welcome we received from both staff & members,on and off the course, will definitely be returning.
