Launceston Golf Club

Played Launceston in August and it was in fantastic condition, well done to the green keeping staff.

The warm up and practice facilities are a bit limited, but everything else was spot on.

Very good course. Fairways and greens were excellent especially considering all of the dry weather we have had. One of the best courses I have played in a while.

Fantastic course suitable for all levels of golfers.

From tee to green the course was in immaculate condition. The staff at all levels were very welcoming and friendly. Play Launceston, I guarantee you won't leave disappointed.

The course was in excellent condition and couldn’t fine fault with the layout. The GolfNow deal was an a bargain. Will definitely be returning soon.

My second time here this year and didn’t fail to impress .Our four ball went out at midday for a price of £26 each. Good price seeing it was a Saturday and were made very welcome by the club pro John .He said it was surprisingly quiet and boy was he right It was millionaire golf with no one to be seen Great for our wayward shots. Course cut and presented well with quite a few challenging holes and yes a lot of trees . Clubhouse welcoming after with friendly staff .So great day out and will be back again

Course offers some fantastic holes for the big hitters out there, couple of holes allow full views from tee box to green, with not many obstacles to deal with.

Par 3’s are fairly long, again, helps if (like me) your swing is basically all or nothing!!

Course conditions were great, though due to the weather we’ve had of late, fairways were like playing off of baked concrete - grounds keepers have done their best to produce good quality course conditions in spite of this - overall, thoroughly enjoyed the experience, would recommend and as a result of a “hot deal” cost to play was extremely reasonable

Played this course once before and said I’ll come back to it again. Thoroughly enjoyed the course again with it’s variety of challenging holes. Clubhouse is very friendly and food was good especially the Cornish pasties.

I’ll look forward to my next visit now”.

Recommended by the current club captain and weren’t disappointed. 2pm tee off but quiet with no hold ups at all. Long course for us but went round in 3.5 hours.

We visited with a group of friends.We have played the course before in the winter.The course is in brilliant condition.The fairways had been cut in the morning and everything looked amazing.The course has a number of longish holes starting with a long par 5.It has some fantastic views stretching from Bodmin moor to Datmoor and Launceston Castle.The course is a good challenge and very enjoyable.The pro shop is very good and helpful.The club house has good food and the beer is always first class.

There are some pretty steep hills in places but this is a very nice club and definitely worth a visit if in Cornwall.
