A day out at Linden Hall

The day was good and enjoyed the course as always. Needs a little TLC but still a good round in lovely settings.

Shocking condition

Quite simply they should not be taking visitor fees to play the course in this condition . The greens were appalling , the tee boxes even worse.

I know these are difficult times , but it’s shocking to take fees to play this course in its present state .

I have played this a few times and it’s a great layout with some great holes. I keep coming back to play it ........but this will be my last visit

Linden

Played as a football.... booked couple of days in advance for a fair price. No toilet facilities at course. Fairways and greens in good condition few tee boxes a bit tatty. Overall a good day out on a good course

Lovely parkland course

The course is set in a beautiful natura setting.

Some holes are rather tricky, but we managed OK...

When we played we were almost alone on he course and that was OK since it was a long time since last we played here. So we had no stress finding our way around the course...

Good experience.

A walk in the woods

This is one of my favourite golf courses , it has some great par 3s over water to give you a good test . It's set in beautiful wood land most times I get the chance to play the coarse you get to see great wild life is dear foxes etc also has some great par 5s. If you have not played it put it on your list. It's worth the drive.

Jeff & tudor.

Played Linden quite a few times over the last year. However, played with 6 people last week and the greens were terrible. Patchy, slow and in urgent need of nuture. Good course and conditions normally. Facilities are good too and staff are friendly

Totally Disappointing Experience

Played Golf for 50 years and it’s the first time I’ve ever walked off a course! Tee boxes were terrible didn’t relate to the card distances in any way, all were falling of the front of the front so we’re hitting off down slopes, some didn’t ever have any markers at all. Bunkers were a disgrace I’ve seen better on council run courses. And as for the greens well don’t get me started there lest just say it was hit and hope. The “PLAYMARCH” voucher wouldn’t work either on this booking. It took three hours to play nine holes with a buggy course was full of Hackers had enough so walked off what a joke!

Average in all departments.

A Cold day in early November, Average bacon sandwich and coffee = £5. Pace of play was slow on the front 9, stuck behind 2, 4 balls. Waved through on 10th by both sets of 4 balls only to catch up with the slowest 2 ball known to man on 15th!

The course was a bit messy, long walks from some greens to the next tee box. Most tee boxes were brought forward, greens recently timed so not true.

Everything average at best but probably vfm at only £12 for the 18 holes.

Nice course in great Northumberland countryside

Course in great condition.

Checked in at the pro shop very quickly from friendly staff.

Very quiet on Saturday we played so could take our time enjoying the scenery, fresh air and sun.!

Plenty of wildlife around.....pheasants a plenty!

We hired a buggy which at £30 was a lot more than the round ! And more than other courses

Other than that I highly recommend this course

Fantastic course in fantastic condition!

What a fantastic gem of a course in great location. The staff were all very friendly and gave good advice to us before we headed out onto the course.

The course itself was in great condition with a number of cracking picturesque holes and some very challenging par threes.
