First time playing here and will come back again. Fairways and tee boxes in immaculate condition. Hilly, so a buggy recommended if struggle and lovely views. Helpful guy in the pro shop showing us round to the first.

Greens are immaculate and course tough but good fun

Abit hilly but some great views , lots of changes in elevation decent speed on greens all round well maintained and a good challenge for most golfers would highly recommend for the price !

First time playing this course, Was extremely impressed with the entire club! The course was in impeccable condition and the greens running purer than any others I have played. Very well laid out with incredible views too.. would highly recommend.

The course was in really good condition especially will all the rain we have had.

Friendly staff (thanks Dermot) first day after lockdown made things a little slow but over all a good course with the wind making some of the par 4s very long!

Greens a bit slow after the winter and no foot traffic but the course is in great shape considering the recent weather.

Tee markers showing the shape/layout of the hole would be worth while (or a free stroke saver) but really enjoyed playing the course even if I was very ring rusty!

A little hilly especially on the back 9 but very nice course

Nice little course but quite hilly so you need to be fit. Bit muddy when I played last but so is everywhere. Members and pro are very friendly

The course itself is well laid out but very hilly so it’s a good work out as well as a decent test of golf.

I like to play this course every year, i have soft spot for it. It is very very hilly but oozes charm and character. The views are spectacular and the holes are varied. The par 5s on the back 9 are my favourite holes to play, with stunning features as are the two par 3s. The front 9 is the hillyer of the two nines, with some excellent holes, 3 and 4 are my favourite. That only sets you up for the final 9, which is stunning in places. The condition of the course was fantastic and a credit to the green staff. A friendly welcome in the proshop by the pro and a friendly clubhouse after for a drink. Mapperley is a tough walk but it is my guilty pleasure, i love to play it.
