Held up well

After days of rain, the hilly course held up well with 18 greens in play (only one hole out but replaced with another full hole). Many tees were off mats but these were in good nick and had tee holes to use. Greens were decent for the time of year and fairways were also good when we hit them. The four ball in front played at a good pace but no offer to let any quicker golfers through - probably delaying our finish by 45 mins. Club pro was very helpful and a nice chap and he allowed us to tee early which softened the lack of being let through. The course is a good test due to being fairly tight, undulating lies and stance and I’d recommend a trolley if you aren’t fit.

First time playing here and will come back again. Fairways and tee boxes in immaculate condition. Hilly, so a buggy recommended if struggle and lovely views. Helpful guy in the pro shop showing us round to the first.

Friendly staff (thanks Dermot) first day after lockdown made things a little slow but over all a good course with the wind making some of the par 4s very long!

Greens a bit slow after the winter and no foot traffic but the course is in great shape considering the recent weather.

Tee markers showing the shape/layout of the hole would be worth while (or a free stroke saver) but really enjoyed playing the course even if I was very ring rusty!
