great day

After recent heavy rains and cold weather the course was remarkably playable. Obviously well drained. Great course if you can place your ball as there area few dog legs and loads of bunkers placed within range. This means its a very technical course that requires some thinking. Need to be fit though as a few hills to walk up and down. Fortunately the lovely staff give you a lift to the first tee. Enjoy

Lovely golfing day

Lovely weather day for our first ever visit to Hollins Hall Marriott Golf course. A thinking mans course, it is not always a driver as you have to put your tee shot into the right position for the shot into the green. It is a testing walk with elevation changes and some considerable distances between greens and tees. We walked but buggies are available. Course in lovely condition for October and we will return for another game.
