Baildon Golf Club

Playing solo today. I always check the wind speed before I book baildon. Wasn’t too bad. Nice weather. Course in good condition. No body in front of me. let 1 guys play through and enjoyed the round. Some hilly holes but worth the walk n nice views. My only complaint is the dog walkers ignoring my presence and dog dirt. Don’t stray into the heather you will lose your ball and more.

Concrete. Could be an interesting course, but in the current drought conditions, greens with bracken and or heather within a single bounce of a green embankment made for a lot of frustration

Short course- especially in the weather- I’ve never reached a 500yd par 5 with 5 wood/8 iron and been out the back.

Would be up to try once there has been some softening.

The course is in good condition considering the recent weather.

Course in great condition. Very welcoming.

Club mentioned option of bacon sandwich and pint special during the week, will look to book that next time.

This has to be the best value for money golf course in Yorkshire, if not the whole country.

It’s a challenge, we played on a reasonably windy day, but the quality of the scenery and the standard of the course made it all the more enjoyable.

Book it, play it and love it like I did.

Great course, no buggies but a good walk.

Wouldn’t recommend for people who struggle to walk a full 18 holes as it’s up hill & down dale a lot of the time.

Well worth the money and would play there again

Played for the 1st time as new to west yorkshire. I am so pleased with this course, great condition, stunning views and greens like carpet. Challenging course as go wide and you'll be lucky to find your ball.

The package for golf, bacon roll and a pint....well just can't be beaten.

I will be back for sure. Very very happy

3rd time I’ve played Baildon. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Course, particularly the greens, are in fab condition given the awful weather of recent weeks.

The course played really well , considering the recent weather of frost and rain . Greens played well , fairways in good condition. Overall the day was really good and we'll worth the £15 to play all day on a Monday

The fairway and greens were frozen solid like concrete. For me it was unplayable and only played 6 holes. Some maybe ok with this as it is winter. It’s a great course though

The best course around in winter whilst most courses around are closed this one is open and in fantastic condition greens in great nick and fairways are great no need for mats on this course and what a bargain at £18

A good all-round course; the greens were very good for the time of year.

Overall, a great winter course and well worth playing. I fully intend to return in the summer as I assume it will be perfect, great setting, great layouit and beautiful views.

Great course brilliant condition definitely back soon .

The course is cleverly designed and laid out in the finest style and traditions of both a Scottish and also many classic links courses. Many of the tees are positioned at an angle to the fairway so as to narrow the line in. There are numerous beautiful elevated greens, and cunning arrangements of hummocks around or in front of the putting surfaces. The greens are firm, true and fast. The white tees are sufficiently different from the yellow tees as to create a substantially different course set up. The second hole is a masterpiece of a par three. Some of the paths between holes could be made better and on some of the earlier and later holes it would be helpful to have more prominent directions from the green to the next tee. Indeed, for those playing for the first time at the course it is not entirely clear where the first tee actually is! Nor the second tee for that matter. The quality of the turf is a natural gift to the course. Overall it is a beautiful golf course with great views of the surrounding landscape. It represents fantastic value for money in terms of the green fees compared with many other courses.
