Nelson Golf Club

Despite the weather we have had in recents months (Noah almost started building another Ark) the course was in excellent condition. It was moist in places along the fairway and soft underfoot on the greens but credit to the course staff for keeping it open and keeping all the greens open all winter. This is my third time playing the course, for some reason always February time and I have never played a temp green. Excellent value for money

Had a great game at nelson today with friends. Course excellent after all the recent rain. Clubshop very friendly and even gave us 10% off food and drink in the clubhouse which unfortunately we couldn't use this time but will definitely use when we return hopefully quite quickly.

Decent course, mostly in great condition. Greens very challenging vs other courses iv played. Would recommend

Great day out course is superb at the moment visited on a few occasions and always been friendly club.takes 50 minutes but well worth the journey 10/10

Nelson is a great golf course if you can miss the Burnley rain which we did this time 😁.

Course was in fantastic condition, especially the greens. All staff at Nelson are always very friendly.

A good test of golf for all standard of golfer.

Played this with two friends, lovely course in excellent condition other than the greens were being heavily sanded as we played, this just slowed them up a touch but did give us a good line to the hole at times. Thoroughly enjoyed it lovely aspects.

Absolutely lovely well maintained course, very challenging not just a pull out driver and whack it course, the views while playing are also stunning

Played a fourball with friends golf pro made us feel welcome right from when we arrived.the golf course was in excellent condition and a good test making it enjoyable for all levels of players had a drink where the bar staff and members were very friendly would strongly recommend on a scenic golf course on a beautiful day

Gets better every time I visit! Credit to the greenkeepers to have the course in that condition this early in the year

Good condition and some great views. Helped by a rare sunny day but very cold.

Didn’t matter though, we had a good round and enjoyed it

Ruined by an officious clubhouse staff member who drove up to the first green and told me and my son that we would be escorted off the course if we played off the fairway again without a matt.

We forgot matts sorry and didn't know the ruiles which is entirely our fault but it didn't warrant being spoken to like that.

Lovely track but we won't be playing there again.

Nelson was in good condition for the time of the year

Only down side was some one scratched my sons car (Porsche) expensive days golf.

Very windy day made golf challenging, exposed course with hills. Great greens, only minor issue is drainage as some standing water. Overall would highly recommend.
