Whalley Golf Club

Haven’t played for a few years so wanted something that got me going without being too challenging. Some very polite juniors helped us navigate the tee boxes, which was very pleasant. Will play again several times!

WGC is a very noce9 hole course which can is used as 18 with slightly different tee beds .

Coarse I looked and played well with excellent greens and tees.

Would recommend if you are close to Whalley

Great course in 1st class condition, the greens are a credit to the green keepers. Can’t wait to play here again.

A good day today, great weather; course very playable after lots of rain so grounds team done a great job and it will get much better as weather does too. Didn’t sample any clubhouse facilities today so can’t review those; people we met on the course were all very personable so a good day and will return

Was a lovely course and everyone was very friendly

booked it on Golf now last minute. upon arrival we were really pleasantly surprised at the lovely clubhouse , shop, carp park etc. The lady in the pro shop was lovely and friendly. we mde our way to the 1st tee (after direction) and was flabbergasted at the view off the 1st tee!. Really enjoyed the course, wide fairways but still challenging because of the lenght of some holes. 9/18 is a belter with the green just in front of the clubhouse balcony. Will deffo be back.

Lovely course in great condition but many holes very similar to each other - straight down hill and then straight uphill, a few alternate tee boxes that do make things slightly shorter/longer but essentially the same. Greens very very good though.

Will play again I’m sure but would play others before it.

Fantastic views on a challenging short course

Well maintained and friendly staff

Unfortunately we couldn’t play due to one of the two golfers coming down with an illness. Could not cancel through golf now and the clubhouse had closed

Played the course a few times this season already, great club house huge fan of course but the greens have been a little rough lately.

Punched and sanded and still not quite recovered.

Will still be playing here and would definitely recommend it just hope the greens get back to where they were before the work on them

I really enjoy playing here my only problem is waiting for a member to show up so I can leave the car park as you need to put in a code for the barrier

Played after some pretty wet conditions and the course was in great condition for the area, greens well kept. V good for december!
