New to the area and found this gem
Visited your golf club yesterday afternoon after finding you on GolfNow.
Really did not disappoint. Excellent greeting from what appeared members of the club who took time out from their social drink 🍻 to give us some guidance. My girl friend is new to golf, people we met on the course were friendly and patient with us. Great course, we had a fantastic afternoon, well done @baxenden_golf we will certainly be back. 👏🏻
Great 9 Hole Course
The Course is in fantastic condition. The Greens are great and roll true. Great views and friendly members.
Great to be back
Was a member as a junior in the late 80s early90s.
Took my son to show him where I started my golfing adventure.
Not many changes to course layout but the course (especially greens) are in amazing condition.
Both loved it will definitely be back.
Ground conditions
Baxenden & District is one of the best 9 hole courses in the area.
Wide, long Par 5's, interesting challenging but not too hard Par 3's.
Course is in fantastic condition with well maintained greens.
We're husband and wife who have full membership elsewhere but find it difficult to get a tee time.
As Baxenden ia o ly a 20 minute drive away its easily accesible and affordable using the Golf Now App.
Excellent course with stunning reviews
This course is in excellent condition and the greens run perfectly. Some of the views you can see from the top of the course are amazing and would deffo recommend for the price.

A great course, well kept and easy to find my way around with it being my first time.
Course features
I have played this course on numerous occasions, but not for a while, having played it yesterday I noticed some nice upgrades to the course such as ponds with fountain them. New water traps round greens ect , keep up the good work Baxenden
First Sunny Day…!
First bonus was that I had the course to myself…!
So artificial Ts on most of the 9 holes, obvious instructions on the first requesting the use of mats on the fairway (no problem) etc but the temp winter holes erm not a fan but understandable.
Sun came out so for £15 can’t complain too much and from experience, it’s a good little course in the summer…. No staff on that I saw and club was closed so can’t score for after match hospitality…

Rude staff questioning why I was there and telling me members was moaning because there was a seniors competition on. DONT TAKE BOOKINGS THEN. I was playing at a quick pace as I was in my own

Another Go
Decided on a quick 9 holes of this hidden course, played a few weeks ago and the course is definitely in a better shape and not busy. Course is fairly simple to follow but cannot comment on the after round libation as nothing was open. Never mind has a good peaceful round which is all that matters.
