Course in great condition for time of year , greens in fantastic condition and quite quick , bunkers were only let down , club shop staff were very friendly . Definitely go back
Ups and downs
Great value for money fairways long plenty of dog legs on the course greens are kept well fairways could do with a good downpour like all golf courses around here bunkers are well positioned definatley play again
Okay
As I played this course for free thanks to American Golf' s offer then this review reflects this fact. The course was reasonable but was very flat, it was well laid out and the condition was good. The pace of play was not helped by a very slow three baller in front of me, so slow that I played the first and second holes again and still caught them up at 7th! Overall the course was okay but I would not pay the full price green fees in future. My course at Arcot Hall is much better.
Good days golf
Excellent value for money. Course in great condition. Par 3 under repair but considering the weather we have had think this was exceptional by staff to get the course in such a good condition. Course not to demanding and open, so gives everybody a chance what ever level they play at.
Exceptional for the recent weather
The course was wet in places under foot but what can you expect for the time of year, where many courses were closed this stayed open. All winter greens but it still allowed us to get out and enjoy the fresh air after being sidelined for so long. Thanks for having us, we’ll be back again I’m sure!
Great Course, awful members
Played on my own and got stuck behind 3 members on the 3rd tee, rather than being polite and letting me play through I got stuck behind them all the way round. To the point that I was stood on 4/5 tee boxes with them and they wouldn’t even acknowledge me, disgusting attitude. Especially when I was considering joining this course as a new member this coming season. Something that has not made me reconsider my decision as this has happened on numerous occasions.
First Knock This Year
I was a member here for 11 years, and it is still a testing course. If you play well here with all the undulations and unforgiving rough, it will put you in good stead for to conquer lots of other courses.

Good value for money
Good value for money. Plays long good condition except for some of the green's.
I was welcomed by the pro who was helpful and pointed out the first and tenth tees and general layout of the course.
There is a variety of holes, but nothing tricked up, a good mixture of par 3's dog leg par 4's and long par 5's. The greens looked a little patchy but very true and played well. Would recommend to anyone who hasn't played there.
Nice Course, Reasonable Pace
Nice course and greens, some patchy areas. Players keep reasonable pace. Good value for money.
True greens
I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful pro who showed me the putting and chipping areas and the first and tenth tees. I was joined by two young golfers Geoff and Lee. It was their first time too and they were great company.
There is great diversity with the holes. Long and short par 3's dog leg par 4's and long par 5's. The greens were a little patchy but very quick and true.
You wouldn't know it was there, but what a gem once you find it. Recommended.
Better than before
I have to say this course has improved a lot.and it seems a lot of work to trees has been done. The long rough that once was is no more. Some good challenging holes as well as some easier ones. the fairways were in ok condition. The greens didn't look the best but the ball ran well and were hard to judge. It was a little windy which made one of the par 5s very testing to make par and i do not think i would like to play in any stronger wind then their was when we played as the course is quite open. Overall a good course and we will be back soon to play again.

I don't know whats going on. The course is really nice, however, all of the greens are in a really bad state.
Totally spoilt our game, will not go back.

I played this course a few days after you and the greens were fine. A little patchy and did not look the best but the ball ran well and smooth on them.
