LOVELY DAY AT THE BRIDLE PATH GOSFORTH G.C..
Enjoyed our day on a well kept golf course.condition of course spot on .greens very good. Canny little clubhouse with friendly staff who cater outside as well will play here again via GOLF NOW
Great greens on nicely challenging and v interesting course
Great greens on nicely challenging and interesting course
Super greens
A cracking little course to play. The greens are in very good condition and so was the rest of the course. I played this course along time ago 25 yrs ago and was glad to play again. Well worth it and a nice pint of belhaven bitter afterwards
Nice secluded course
Would recommend a round at Gosforth. Nice course with some interesting holes and Ouseburn meandering through In residential Gosforth but you could almost be in the countryside as its very peaceful on most holes.
Cracking little course
First time playing here and it’s a cracking little course not the longest of courses and if you drive the ball well you’ll shoot some low scores here, I played early morning and the green staff were out on the course clearing the greens of sand, so a few of the holes I’d played still had a layer on it, but it didn’t spoil it for me. The course is well laid out with only 2 par 5’s back to back and the par 3’s have more than enough bunkers on them to make them a challenge, overall a good course well worth another visit
Walked off after 5
Love this course, always have. Unfortunately there was a 20 min delay on the tee time, then it was just blocked back. Took us 90 mins to do 5 holes and when we arrived at the 6th there were 2 4 balls already waiting so it would have been another 20 minute wait so we walked off. Absolute waste of time and money.
Course in excellent condition and it’s a great track but pick your timings carefully!
Gosforth Gem
Had a another lovely round at gorgeous Gosforth, the fairways & putting surfaces were lush & green throughout & the greens not only looked immaculate ( well most of them did ) but they ran at z lovely pace & true to putt on aswell. It's a lovely layout at the Bridal Path with a good mix of oar 3 & 4's & theres 2 back to back long oar5"?'s on the back 9 aswell. There is a few holes with water involved either in the firm of pond area, a small running medium sized steam to z couple of cross fairway gully traps. The weather was a gorgeous bright & sunny day with not a breathe of wind. Some of the bunkers would benefit from a top up of fine soft white sand but apart from that everything else was great. The club pro ( Graeme i think ) was extremely friendly & helpful along with the members who all smiled, waved & said hello but I have always found it to be a very friendly place. Look forward to playing there again soon & i would definitely recommend playing here & at £19 inc booking fee through Golf Now it was for nothing so highly suggested you give it a try
Even better than I remembered
Hadn't played Gosforth for about 4 yrs but by God i wasn't disappointed & the happy moments of his good this course is came flooding back. The course was in fabulous Condition, iush fairways, good tee boxes but the star of the show were the greens which ran true, fast & looked in tip top condition. Weather was sunny & hot with the slightest of of breezes but I lived every hole & only paid £18 on a Golf Now deal so for a quid a hole more than worth its will definitely be going back again real soon with some friends who haven't played this gem if a course yet. It has a good mix of 3,4's & par 5's, the back 9 ( over the road ) is the longest part of the course & I saw wild deer running about the course which was lovely. If you get a chance please play it as you definitely won't be disappointed, can't wait to play it again soon.
Course
Good course ,good greens ,a little busy even at 7.50 am for teeing of but overall good course to which I will be getting a membership soon
3 ball
£18 summer golf it was fantastic value. Every hole offered something a bit different. We had an early tee time so didn’t see in clubhouse etc but you are not too far from gosforth. Only downfall greens had just been sanded but still played alright.
Worth a visit
Really nice course - beautifully maintained and in excellent surroundings.
Unfortunately (due to recent weather conditions) there were a number of winter tees and greens and some restrictions on hitting from the fairway - but nonetheless - a great round.
Staff and members very welcoming and friendly in the bar afterwards. Would defo recommend a visit.
