Have a go
Not a bad course. Couple of thoughtful holes. One thing I would mention is I’ve never played a course where you are constantly watching left or right for the tee offs. Lots of crisscross play and slows everything down. Lots of walkers that don’t look before walking infront of you.
First time to have a par 3 as the 18th 👍🏻
Golf at Ryton again
Have not played the course for 10 years and it is in the best condition I have ever seen it. Greens superb, and with the trees having grown in now it is a proper test.
Ok course, length of grass was poor
I've played in this course for the third time, but this time the course grass was very long and the fairway as well
Could do with better course management
Great Course, Friendly Staff
Great value for money with the course being quite tight at the end, with the river on one side and the train track on the other.
Course in good condition for March.
Only downside was the course layout can sometimes cross over each other, so hitting the ball over another hole.
But a good course for the money, definitely go back.
Quick round
Friendly staff & other golfers. Course in good condition compared compared to many others after weeks of rain. I enjoyed the course & greens. Not ideal course if your right handed & a big slicer of the ball.
Railway on one side, river Tyne running other side of course. Encourages you to hit straight. Can imagine picturesque on a summers day with the river running by. Would definitely play course again.
Like playing in a farmers field
This course is in really bad condition there are no fairways cut in at all its like playing on farmers field the staff are just rude the shop is never open and evan if it is there isn't anything woth buying in there way over priced for what you get i woulf not pay to play here again
Awful
The layout is terrible. Holes cross over one another and you regularly drive over tee off boxes or other greens. The wind is an issue and can be see by the tilt of the trees. Course condition is also poor. Considering the alternatives in the area, I wouldn't waste your money here. Avoid.
Great course, quite narrow and can be tough with wind. Recommend.
Great course
Great course with in lovely environment - with very welcoming staff
Clara vale
Great presented course ,love the changes to the course ,not so hard so the average golfer will enjoy a round ,scenery fantastic as is the whole feel of the place
Decent Course
Played Ryton a few times, probably in the best nick I've seen it. Good greens, general condition pretty good. Really enjoyed our game, members really friendly on the course. Defo recommend.
Nice course
We played at 9:15 on a Friday so was pretty empty no hold ups at all but have played on a Sunday a few times and it’s always slow as to be expected
Good course for the time of year
Played Ryton expecting a mud pit with all the rain that we've had, but was surprised how good the fairways and greens were, bit of work and upkeep ongoing but never spoiled the round.
Will definitely play here again
