Brilliant
Perfect course although we had to play of mats when hitting the ball which I was a bit confused about.
Course was a pleasure regardless of the weather
Can't wait to come back and play the course in the summer. Even though we have had rain consistently for days, the greens were remarkable as was the majority of the course. The winter layout is somewhat confusing but I opted for yhe follow those in front method which worked well for me. My only one negative other rhan the weather, first timers need to be made aware of the code to get out or else they just sit there, cold and muddy looking all confused (maybe they was just me lol)
Excellent green
Very friendly and excellent value for money. Two holes were shut due to worm problems. Check the club website as it's not advertised on nowgolf. All holes played off winter tee boxes which drastically shortened many holes. The greens were in excellent condition and very challenging. Not a flat putt anywhere! Will play again in the summer when dry.
Morning round late October-Rayner
The course was very wet in parts (probably about four holes out 18) considering low rainfall over the weekend and heavy morning dew. If you hit fat ish wedge shots you would end up plastered in mud. The 10th fairway (worm mounds) was very muddy down the left side) However, I think it would be a cracking course in the summer. The course was well layed out and gave a good variety of different holes. Everyone would enjoy this course. The only slight hesitation is the last three holes that cross over tee/ fairways . The greens were absolutely first class. They ran true with no bobbles and made you think of the line. Some very challenging hole positions, made me three putt
twice (10 handicapper)
Lovely course great price
Love all aspects of the course and club. Another great afternoon golf
Course good layout but just last 3 holes were crossing one another’s play
