Pike Hills Golf Club

Extremely friendly club. Great amenities. Good testing track. One or two crossing fairways which I personally don't like and the half way house causes a slight delay in play. All in all a great day's golf. Would definitely return.

First time back in many year's really enjoyed the round of golf

No notification that 2 holes were out for play until we actually approached them.

Our first time to play the course. A bad day to play since it was raining but the course held on. The greens were still running superb and the fairways were not that muddy even though it was pounding down.

It has got some very interesting holes that almost go semicircular. Loved them.

Will definitely be back again.

not played this course for many years but really enjoyed it so will deff go again.

Pike Hills is relatively short so you won't need the driver on more than a handful of holes. That said many of the shorter par 4's are pretty tight so par not a given.

The course was busy so play was pretty slow. That said we got round in 3.50 hours .

Enjoyed the course but the proximity to the main A64 was rather intimidating at times especially on the first two holes plus there was the constant noise of traffic throughout the round.

That aside a very nice easy to walk course with challenges for all levels of golfer.

My personal highlight was my first ever hole in one at the 7th!

Speaking to the pro when we arrived and it was explained to our 4 ball the greens had been dressed , he apologised and went away for 5 mins and came back with a complimentary 4 ball as we wouldn’t be playing the course at its best , as it was we thoroughly enjoyed the round and will look forward to playing next year

Looking to start playing again after 15 years away from golf, me and my partner played Pike Hills and found the course in good condition with all the staff and other members very friendly and welcoming,

Excellent course first time playing this course since 1995 still as good as ever very challenging

Love this course so much having played last week we booked again today. No hassle, very friendly and course in great condition.

Could grumble that there are no rakes for bunkers but if that’s all there is to say in the negative it says a lot !!

I arrived to find that golf now had added two other bookings to my tee off time. I’m sure it is hidden in their T&Cs but it certainly isn’t made clear when you book and they don’t have the courtesy to contact you to advise that strangers will be joining your round. My advice is to book direct - better for the course to get the income and you’ll get the round you booked.

Short course, best suited for beginners.

Poor layout if your a faster player, no one seems to let you through, rude members, not a very good experience.

Worst course I have played ever. Avoid.
