Good course
The course is in a beautiful location and was very quiet 1st thing in the morning, it's a good course I think for all levels of golf, I played the course on my own and it's was a pleasure as I had no in front or behind me., I will definitely go back when I am in the area again
Enjoyable game great location
First time and thought the course was great , layout was great and staff very friendly and approachable will definatley go back for round 2
Reasonable course
There are a few very nice holes but overall the fairways and greens are distinctly average. I suspect the dry summer hasn’t helped.
Nice day out
We where made very welcome by both the pro shop and catering staff and the members, we knew we where following a 30 strong society but still played at a reasonable pace. The greens looked like they had been treated for moss but still played reasonably well and the fairways in places had suffered due to the recent hot spells but where still reasonable. The course layout is interesting with plenty of dog legs, strategically placed trees and water hazards will return in the springtime for sure all in all an enjoyable day out
Decent course but awful greens
Overall the course is enjoyable apart from the poor greens and bunkers. The quality of the greens is far below what I’d expect for a £40 round of golf.
Great Coarse
What a gem of a course. Extremely well laid out. Some of the greens had a few issues but they played flat and true so no issue. The food and drink in the clubhouse were both excellent and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.
Tricky in places if out of position good place to play nice and flat
The higher handicapper/learner won't be overwhelmed and will probably return
Excellent course
Second time as a visitor at this course and it did not disappoint.
A great layout with wide fairways, but well positioned trees and bunkers to make you think.
If I lived nearer it would be my course of choice.
We will be back.
Decent, but could be better
Really nice plot of land. Could be excellent with a bit of investment and maybe a bit of a tweak to give it an extra push. Decent place for the weekend golfer.
Cracking course
Lovely location, great views, not the trickiest of holes but worth playing, lots of nice long holes, all in all it's one we will visit again for certain
Very easy but long course
Fairways excellent condition. Greens ok for time of year.
Dry and the ball was running.
The course was dry which encouraged the ball to run. The course was not busy as is normal after 2.00pm. I would have given a five for course condition but the greens had some Spring treatment on them. They'll soon be in excellent shape.
