Prestwich Golf Club

As golf clubs seem to think that they had an upturn in there members because and solely because of the pandemic they seem to think a reasonable price to pay for a round of golf is anything from £25 to £80 for quite frankly amatuerishly run clubs. This course is in good condition as expected considering it is July but £26 is far to much for a course which is 4600 yards long and the shout of fore was a regular occurance as holes crossed over each other. Just to let golf clubs know that membership is once again on the decline so the need for nomad golfers will be even greater when financing a club becomes to difficult. Won't be playing this club again.

The course , facilities and the gentleman in the club shop gave a 1st class and friendly service. Used the newly renovated facilities inside and was very impressed. After telling the gentleman in the pro shop that it was my first time playing the course he took it upon himself to walk us to the first tee and explain the layout in great detail. Will certainly be returning and I’ll be telling anyone I know who plays to give this great course a try. Thanks again

The course is nice however with half the holes crossing each other you spend half your time waiting to play doors. Car park isn't big enough to accommodate players on course. On a quiet day would be worth playing however definatley avoid weekends. I was looking at possibly joining this club however swiftly decided to join Whitefields instead

I went here on the chance and it paid off big time. Absolute brilliant course in layout and maintenance of fairways and greens. The staff in the bar and club pro shop are helpful, along with people who also come to play golf seem very friendly. I will do deffo be coming again very soon since I love the course

I haven't played this course since they recently changed the course layout and in my opinion they've made it much better. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

At one point on the 7th there where 10 players waiting. Shocking!

We had a great days golf with the course keeping our attention on every hole . This is the tightest course I have ever played and you need to be a good iron player especially off the tee . This is target golf at it’s best. If you miss the fairways you will be punished and that’s if you even find your ball . A lot of blind shots and greens you can’t see. And after you find the greens that’s where the hard work starts as the undulating slopes are unbelievable. A real challenge of your golf skills will be tested which I really enjoyed

Golf course in great condition some tricky holes course layout was ok (revamped) but a little disjointed in parts. Staff very helpful a great day out will play again.

Course not the longest but tough to enter greens as they are all raise, and undulating greens make it a tough test, fairways great bunkers many of they are deep but plenty of sand overall a great experience price is worrying as are most these days need to drop price as it is a small yardage course would play again though..

We booked a tee time but our third player got lost the staff were fantastic and slotted us in a little later short course very deceiving excellent holes
