Very nice course well looked after very nice greens

First time playing Garesfield and likely will not be the last, course is in great condition and especially this time of year.

Lots of enjoyable scenery to enjoy on the way around, it is a little hilly on the back nine, so bare in mind.

A few blind fairways, will be great to play again knowing the course more now.

For the price, this is an interesting course with some unique holes. Fairways were in good condition, as were the greens however the slopes on many greens made putting very tricky.

The club shop has nothing to offer and is rather forgotten about. The practice net and chipping green were looking rather sad and tired.

The 1st hole is a nice way to start the round with a very good Birdie opportunity.

Great country style Course arrived at the Course to find the guy behind the pro shop very friendly came outside and explained to Course as we’ve not played it before couldn’t ask for more. Course condition was excellent a bit hilly greens in excellent condition overall we thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Really enjoyed my first visit and the challenge the course provides. Lots of variation in the holes the course was in great condition. The greens were true and quick putting very nicely.It is undulating and a testing walk for older players maybe worth taking a buggy. I was joined by some members for the back 9 who were most welcoming and friendly. The pro shop were also very helpful and explaining the course and layout for me. After play the clubhouse was comfortable with a good selection of drinks and food available. i will definitely be returning and would recommend anyone to try this hidden gem of a course.

Nice course with some interesting holes. Club house staff were very friendly and helpful for our first time playing there.

From the tee box to the green the course is in very good condition.

The greens are rapid and the bunkers full of sand, perfect.

A real challenge and the course is in great condition. Weather was very changeable but you can’t have everything. Will definitely be going back.

Despite all the dry weather the greens have been kept in great condition. Played here a few times, staff are great.

Really enjoyed this course, quite testing as it is narrow so be sure to hit those fairways. Nice layout but is very hilly in parts. I'm 60 and fortunately quite fit, but had a reminder the following day that I'd had a game the 30 degree heat played a factor as well as it can sap your energy. Depending on age/fitness/ailments, you might want to consider hiring a buggy. 👍

If your thinking about playing here definitely do it, course is in great condition, the greens are fantastic. Only thing I really can’t comment on is the pace of play as whenever I’ve played here the course hasn’t been to busy infront so haven’t had to wait for anybody. The layout is great, it’s like 2 courses in 1.

The course was challenging with lots of blind shots but the course wasn’t overly long making it a hourly enjoyable golf course, I will definite be back

As ever, very good value, always teetimes available. Course in very good condition. Windy day but very few playing which meant a round played without any waiting.

Great course with fantastic views. Ive played here a few times know and always found the staff friendly and welcoming.

Course was in fairly good condition considering the heavy rain that it received the day before with only a few areas of grass that need some attention to bring them up to full summer season condition. The most significant issue that we encountered was very slow play by a three ball up ahead of us that had several groups including ourselves backed up behind them from start to finish - considering the fact that all of them were well under the age of thirty they should be somewhat embarrassed that they had the over fifty's standing waiting for them (and out distancing them) on every hole....
