Ruddington Grange Golf Club

Great layout, pleasing to the eye and clever in places. We had a hit deal Tuesday afternoon and landed behind a ladies comp. In fairness as a 2 ball following a 4 we were always going to be waiting. Adjusting speed down was tricky but not the courses fault. The greens however needed a cut or an iron, they were true, pretty but good grief sloooow, maybe this is how they like them but odd all the same. A little high rough in parts keeps you honest but all round a pleasure and a nonsense bargain to boot. Thanks to the club for today.

Course has a great layout,it’s tight off the tee,most fairways are tree lined but the rough under the trees is way to long any stray drives resulting in loosing your ball ,very enjoyable day out even though we lost a few balls

Had a really enjoyable round of golf today with my son.

The course is set up nicely and greens in good condition.

The bunkers are in poor condition and need some maintenance work.

Definitely recommend this course and would play again.

Ruddington is a great course with various hazards to challenge all types of players.

I have considered becoming a member but I like the flexibility of GolfNow and finding a Hot Deal so I can play many courses.’

Only criticism I have are the speed bumps please drive extremely slow over them

The course was a bit boggy in places but that was not surprising as we have had a lot of rain this month.

Superb course, good layout and one of our favourites in the Nottinghamshire area.

Highly recommend playing this course.

The course is in absolute pristine condition. Fairways looking amazing, greens nice and quick. Was a tough round as a challenging course. Love to play here. Only downside was the pace of play...had to wait a while on each tee due to slow players in the groups in front. Despite having buggies the four ball in front was very slow to play. It seemed if they strayed off the fairway they would spend an eternity together looking fir balls. This was a bit frustrating.... I will be back and hope for quicker pace of play next time...maybe stagger tee times at 15 minute intervals instead of 10?

Having played the course before I have been looking forward to testing myself at Ruddington again. When a rare tee time came up I couldn’t resist. The course was in great condition considering resent heavy rain. The tight fairways and fast greens were a great challenge. Would highly recommend and I hope they continue to offer tee times to members of the public!

Fairways good, greens generally true & receptive, bunkers soil & sand mixture, course interesting & varied. Unfortunately we were held up badly by two groups of ‘lads’ intent on a raucous day out, but we will look to return nonetheless.

First time playing at this course

Fantastic value for money and the greens and fairways are very well kept .not the easiest course with plenty of hazards and narrow fairways but brilliant .

Everyone that was playing and around cafe/bar were really friendly had some good laughs and you don’t get that at many courses

Overall a must go and play course highly recommend it

It's where I learned to play and I still love it. Nice, well maintained course with great staff, currently only open to members due to Covid limits but odd sessions pop up on app if you don't mind playing early or late!
