Ruddington Grange Golf Club

Course in good condition for the weather we have had. It’s quiet tight in places so you have to be on your game. So that makes it more interesting and fun.

Lovely corse with some brilliantly laid out holes. Some simple and some challenging. Well groomed, greens in superb condition as always. 1 or 2 different from the norm par 3's, a good mix of par 4's with some long ones and some that temp a go at the green. And all the par 5's are great, either well laid out or tight within the tree line to compensate for being a shirt par 5. And to top it off its actually a nice walk round. Very well maintained, with lots of stunning mixes of trees and flowers to make it a little more aesthetically pleasing. Well done Ruddington. Will definitely be returning, maybe a member one day.

The course is in very good condition and playing well. A course of two half’s with the second nine being a stronger test of golf. I would certainly recommend a visit to Ruddington GC

For this time of year, I would have hoped to have played a course in better condition. Tee boxes were ok, fairways producing numerous unpredictable bounces and greens could be improved as anything over a few feet produced hop-skip-jumps. Bunkers were poor!

Very difficult to attack greens and very difficult to run them in due to the unpredictable fairways.

Accurate tee shots required and the course suits accuracy over distance.

Coarse in very good condition, varied holes and good challenge, down side ditches running across some fairways , overall very good

Only issue on the day was the greens which were somewhat indifferent and would benefit from some TLC. A couple of holes we had to play to winter greens too because the grounds staff were mowing them. Otherwise this is a really enjoyable course

Played a 2 ball at 7.08, went off without checking in as no one in the pro shop but we had payed online

Great test of golf, tight fairways on some holes, plenty of water to contend with

Greens were in poor condition

Rest of the course was great

Restaurant not open when we finished at 1030 but the con shop was and the breakfast cons were excellent

Lovely course helped by good weather. Course in great condition, staff welcoming and members friendly.

Very well kept and a balanced challenge - great day including lovely bar meal.

I have played this course over the years and feel the changes being made there will make it fantastic once ready

The course itself is really good, some challenging holes, can imagine in summer when trees in bloom, some of the fairways will be tight,

The only downside to our day was the slow play, in end walked off at the 13th, I believe a society was having a day on course, but did not let people play through, plenty of two balls, stood on tees waiting , at least two sets prior to us did same,

Will be back, hopefully with the chance to finish course
