Sandford Springs Golf Club - Lakes Course

Really good course as far as layout goes but was surprised by the poor quality of our back 9, the park course and its drainage. We played the Lakes first and even with the recent rain, being the low point of the course it was in very good condition with the greens running well. Surprisingly, the Parks being on higher ground was really poorly drained and the greens had been recently treated so were sandy and very wet. the course is really good layout and I don't remember it being bad from previous visits but was surprised at how boggy it was. Good clubhouse and very helpful staff.

There are 27 holes on this course 3 x 9 hole courses.the cost was double what we paid the previous day only 7 miles away I wouldn't say it was worth twice as much. That's the negative the positive was it was a very well laid out course with many good challenges fairways and greens on holes 10 to 27 were in great condition

Very enjoyable experience would play again. One or two of the greens in need of some attention and semi rough had been cut and left which made finding your ball in there a challenge.

I played the Park and then Woods, the park is relative flat, the woods is quite undulating and would advise hiring a buggy as you'll need it on the woods. I walked both and felt it.

Overall though some terrific holes and I would definitely play again.
