Nice course
I have played South Cerney several times and have alway had a Great Welcome and the course is normally in great shape you can stop by our gokf balls on th we greens but I noticed some of the Tees are not in good condition and need to be rolled but otherwise normally and good course to play and will be playing there again.
Good option for a game
Well looked after, tidy looking course with nice peaceful surroundings.
Holes fairly challenging.
Course quite flat and perhaps lacks a tad of character, but still had an enjoyable round of golf there.
Greens in really good condition.
Shame about the Golf!!
This course represents good value for money at around £20. You can just turn up and play now as there are always Tee Times available throughout the day. It suited us to play here as we could get an early Tee and be finished by lunch time. The course was in pretty good condition, the greens are never the best but certainly good enough for our standard. There is a lot of work going on around the course but this did not spoil our Round...that was taken care of by the very poor standard of our games. Still enjoyable though...sort of...in hindsight...after a few days sulking.

Although some ground works are on going it’s mainly off the course which actually is in very good condition! Really enjoyed the round and everything off the course
Just too slow
Played a few times now, decent course for the average golfer, greems good but tight and some challenging holes.
However recurring problem is speed of play, mixed ability groups and no etiquette, means we had 2 or 3 groups waiting at every tee. Walked off after 3 hours for 11 holes
Club really need to sort this out
Good
Course was rather dry but tgat was expected. Well posted from greens to next tee. Staff eere polute and friendly. Overall, a nice place for golf.

Good course in good condition and not too tight.
Small greens which are only lightly guarded.
Good club house serving really nice food..
Work in progress
A lot of construction for new water features going on so spoils the experience I am sure once completed it will make the course a lot more interesting in general the course was untidy disappointing

Poor course overall
A very flat course with not very inspiring or imaginative holes, although I understand that major improvements are in hand. Back 9 was a little better.Greens were reasonably good but flat.
Good Course
Good course with forgiving setup. Ideal for improving without losing too many balls. Bacon & Egg rolls are a must from the clubhouse.
