Good course for beginners
Good course to go back to after not golfing in a year. Nice and open and also flat. Decent breakfast/food and friendly staff. Would recommend
Generous course for the erratic golfer.
Broad fairways and light rough make this a good course for the golfer whose tee shots might be a bit wild. Hard, but not impossible, to lose too many balls. Layout is a bit samey, straight par 4s and long straight par 3s, but this leads to a well-paced round with few hold-ups. Good clubhouse and driving range facilities and pleasant staff.
Good course for mid to high handicappers
The course has a great layout with great fairways and reasonable rough areas that do not punish harshly with lost balls. The greens need work however I understand that they are covered in sand to help the drainage and that is part in parcel of winter golf. Tee boxes in reasonable shape and flat enough. The only unusual thing is the bunker placement is a bit random and few and far between. Will definitely play again.
Course condition
The course played well and was in pretty good condition. Some of the greens were over spiked and sanded and felt at times you were putting through a bunker and many of the tee boxes weren’t level. That said overall the course was good and I enjoyed the round.
Was a bit surprised that from playing only a few weeks previous and now Winter is approaching that the fees
had increased by 25%
Pleasant but not that interesting
A forgiving course, very flat and open. Hazards don't seem to be positioned to challenge your game too much.
Not the most interesting course in the region and price should have been less whilst treating greens which were covered in sand throughout.
Easy, free parking area and nice staff, cafe and bar all close to hand.
Nice Course
Great little course which is well maintained and brilliant value
Nice course, very friendly
Enjoyed and round with the husband, course was in a good state. Helped by the lovely weather.
Course Condition
The course is in excellent condition and looks very impressive, slight firm on the greens, but again are excellent. The Staff (Nathan) in the Pro shop was extremely helpful. Very handy halfway house for refreshments. Overall fantastic and will be considering membership when it again becomes available. 10/10
Good course
Good course nice fairway and greens but like most places just needs flat tee off box's and water in ball cleaners
Good little course
Nice friendly course to get some time in with the sticks
Nice course in good condition
The course is very pleasant. Wide fairways and rough in which you can find your ball and usually get it out too.
Greens were okay but not the best I have played.
The course is quite level.
Good but expensive for what it is
Great little course with some challenging holes. Very flat with lots of trees and wispy rough that lines the fairways which was tough to get out of if you strayed off line. Greens unresponsive to approach shots, but also very slow and rather bumpy so putting was difficult. Also has a driving range for practise although needs some yardage signs to help assess length of shots. On the day we played there was hardly anyone else playing which is a shame and reflects the price - £23 to play here is a bit steep really for what it is and you have to feel that if they reduced the price then they’d do much better.
First class golf course with good conditions and friendly staff. Have played here many times.
