Fantastic condition. Play a lot of golf and this was in Fantastic condition. All greens were on and some winter tee locations but all still on grass. Worth the £20 all day long!

Course and greens in great condition everyone very friendly. Ijust really enjoy playing this course. Good for both high and low handicaps.
Winter golf
Condition of course was excellent considering the time of year(November) played this course several times before never disappoints. Will be back .

Consistently excellent course
I’ve played several times at this course and it has always been immaculate. A very fair course with some challenging par 4 holes. The greens are always in great condition. There are some top views both north and south up and down the coast. The members are also very friendly which can’t be said for all clubs.
Brilliant
Fantastic course the conditions of the fairways, greens,T box where perfect best in the North East by a mile ,GPS needs sorting out to get there for new comers takes you to the back end of the course but apart from that faultless *****
Golf now
Not best pleased with golf now who i booked with and again the following day booking other strangers on with me on my tee slot without any Knowledge, courses and staff very pleasant and helpful and understanding

Thought the pro was a bit ignorant maybe doesn’t like golf now visitors just got got that impression golf course was very good and everyone else was very nice

Great course!
A scenic course with perfect greens. Only thing lacking was a little bit more direction on where the holes are, extra signage would be great as it does cross over quite a bit.
But that’s just a minor point in a fantastic course. Well kept, nice staff and couldn’t have asked for better weather - really brought out the views of the North East. I look forward to returning soon.
Exceeded expectations
Thoroughly enjoyed the round at South Shields on a windy day. There is a good variety of holes with the par 3’s all playing long, some long par 4’s and some reachable par 5’s. It all makes for a great challenge. The staff were very welcoming, the pace of play excellent, overall the course was in great condition and the coastal views quite stunning. Definitely a course I will visit again.
